Brake master cylinder assembly is in. Had to do some grinding to get it all in the right position.
Should I paint the pedals green or keep them black?

It took soem effort with a ratchet strap, but the bulkhead is in position. Already feels very solid with the steering box connected.
Lots of small bits still to do before the first drive.

Testfitting the bulkhead on the chassis,.... it didn't fit.
Looks like I have to drill out the connection point and weld it back in the correct place this time.
Should have tested before painting, but it's an easy fix so not to worry to much!

It's finished! Next step: painting the chassis black.

After lots of grinding, welding, measuring, grinding again and welding some more, it was finally time to put the primer on today! Most difficult part of the restoration so far, I have replaced: both footwells, both chassis mounting points, both vent flap areas, left and right A-pillars, patched many, many, many holes, bent pieces back to were the are supposed to be and put back the old stiffener plate around the pedal area. Which would be quite a lot easier if I didn't do that last....
All the rust is now gone and only metal has been painted with primer.
Some people might argue why I didn't buy a new one, but I'd rather repair something and learn from it instead of buying new parts. Let's hope it fits without to much hammering.
Next step: sealing all the overlaps with some kind of putty.
