CONNECTED ECONOMY
At this digital age, if you haven't started building a viable system that can be paying passively, you're committing a great financial error!
The Connected Economy has come about because of incredible developments in computer technology, these innovations are drastically changing the business world, there is a new emphasis on connecting with each other and building relationships.
This is enabling people to use their scarce TIME more efficiently, and this has been at the core of many disruptive innovations throughout history. And today, 384 years later, innovators are still using time to disrupt the status quo across each of the eight cornerstones of our connected economy.
I welcome you to this great community that will really change your mentality of viewing how things are changing and the new era we are into as a people globally.
I was reflecting on the current shift from the 'information or internet age' to the CONNECTED ECONOMY which I think everyone is a beneficiary of.

Now, there was a time when production of both goods and services demanded physical presence, but today, you could be in your sitting room, eating popcorn and just clicking on the laptop and you get paid for doing so.
Amazing and interesting I would say, that is why I choose to write about this shift or evolution from the Industrial age to the Digital age and now things are changing as we are gradually shifting into the CONNECTED ECONOMY.
First, I would want to discuss the industrial era which lasted for approximately 100 years (1750- 1850) source:
The Industrial era began as a result of the invention of the steam powered engine in Great Britain which replaced the muscle power or localized methods of pressure.
This led to a significant change in the labor, social and political lifestyle of Humans. More goods and services were available and excess were shipped to areas where they are needed. Then, things began to change as information technology set in.
The information or the Digital age started about 60 years ago. The invention of the computer caused a shift from slower and localized means of distributing information, products and services to a more rapid and global means of distribution.
This age is also known as the 'NEW MEDIA AGE' because the whole world has become a global village where everyone can meet without meeting physically.
BUT, Recently the digital age has been a foundation for the new Era called the CONNECTED ECONOMY to set in. I am going to be using some examples while trying to buttress my point.
First, Mark Zuckerberg ( FACEBOOK) as at 2017 was just 34 years old, it was noted that before covid-19 began he worth over $56 billion, and now his net worth is over $100B. what account for this huge increasing despite prolong general lock-down due to covid-19? The straight answer is: because he is operating the CONNECTED ECONOMY.

Meanwhile, take for instance the richest man in Nigeria and Africa, Aliko Dangote as at 2017 was 67 years old and he worth about $12.2 billion before covid-19 began and he is still operating in the industrial era till now. As at today, Aliko Dangote wealth drop to $8.1B from $12.2B for the same reason that made Mark Zuckerberg to experience wealth growth.
Also Larry Page (google) worth $40.7 billion before covid-19 but today his wealth has increase to $68.9B compare to President Donald Trump( president USA, who is into Real estate) worth about $3.1 billion before covid-19 but today it has drop to $2.5B
Folks, operating CONNECTED ECONOMY means you are operating a recession and pandemic proofed kind of economy, it enhance and secure your financial life.
