Wash your engine at least once every year. A clean engine runs cooler than a dirty one. A clean engine also enables you to easily spot leaks and service its components. You may have your engine professionally steam cleaned or you may opt to do it yourself. In this case, make sure you protect sensitive engine components including the air intake, distributor and electrical parts with plastic bags before getting started. You may use a grease-cutting detergent and a bristle brush to scrub the engine. Make sure to rinse thoroughly once done.

Engines can overheat for many reasons. In general, it’s because something’s wrong within the cooling system and heat isn’t able to escape the engine compartment. The source of the issue could include a cooling system leak, faulty radiator fan, broken water pump, or clogged coolant hose.
Signs Your Engine is Overheating includes:

How to Adjust Your Mirrors
Great visual search habits require proper positioning and use of mirrors located inside and outside a vehicle.Mirrors are intended for detection and not for gathering detailed information.
1 The inside mirror

Adjust the inside mirror so you can see the entire rear window from the driver’s seat. You should have to move only your eyes, not your head, when using this mirror.

2 Side-view mirrors
To adjust the driver’s side-view mirror, place your head against the left side window and set the mirror so you can just barely see the side of the car in the mirror’s right side.
To adjust the passenger’s side-view mirror, position your head so that it is just above the center console. Set the mirror so you can just barely see the side of the car in the left side of the mirror.

1.Replace oil filters with every oil change: Car manufacturers often suggest changing oil filters every other time you have your oil changed. Most parts and oil manufacturers, however, suggests the replacement of oil filters with every oil change, which should occur every 2,000 miles or three months.

2.If the Service Engine light is on, you may need an oil filter replacement ahead of schedule. It could also indicate the engine system isn’t working as well.

3.If you regularly drive in more severe conditions, such as in stop-and-go traffic, towing heavy loads, or in extreme temperatures, you may need to replace your oil and oil filter more often. Such conditions cause your engine’s system to work harder, which in turn requires more frequent maintenance of its components, including the oil filter
