Even if both radiator fans are spinning, the extra strain from the AC compressor can generate more heat in the engine bay. Additionally, if the radiator or cooling system is marginal—say, due to low coolant levels, clogged radiators, or faulty fans—the engine may overheat faster when the AC is on.

In short, turning on the AC increases engine load and heat production, which can lead to quicker overheating despite the fans running. It's a good idea to check the cooling system and consider having it inspected if overheating becomes a persistent issue.
