Business Education Examinations Council (BEEC)- Damilola Adeniyi

BEEC is a member of the British based Council for education in the Common Wealth. It was established in 1984 as a leading examinations council to conduct highly rated professional examination in the specialised area of Management and Business in Nigeria and Africa at large.

This Council is approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria as one of the Innovation Enterprises Institutions. BEEC is internationally recognised as one of the Chatered Common Wealth examinations.

Here are the available Career Options in BEEC examinations: Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Management, Sales Management, Administrative Management, Personnel Management and Accountancy.

BEEC examinations are conducted in three stages namely:
A. Foundation Level : equivalent to British BEC or ScotBEC National Award.
B. Professional Certificate Level: equivalent to BEC/SCOTBEC Higher Award or HNC.
C. Diploma Level: BEEC Diploma is of a Post HND standard.

Candidates applying with duly accredited University degrees, HND, BEC/ScotBEC Higher Awards or approved professional qualifications may be granted full or partial exemptions from the certificate level provided such qualifications have sufficient coverage of Business studies.

BEEC's result can be used for career progression to higher degrees. That is, holders of BEEC qualifications are considered for admission into programmes leading to PGD, MBA and M.SC in various universities within and outside Nigeria.

Also, Diplomas awarded by BEEC are generally of international acceptability and are recognised by most professional bodies working in allied fields for exemptions. Moreover, Associate memberships are granted by NIPR, IMIM, APCON, NIMN to holders of BEEC qualifications.

BEEC Commences Exams- Damilola Adeniyi

The Nov/Dec diet of the Business Education Examination Council (BEEC) Professional Examination commenced yesterday (9th December) in Nigeria.

The Ondo State Coordinator of the Council, Mr Afolabi Akinkuehin stated that the first papers kicked off around 9am at the various centres in the country.

Meanwhile, reports from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), the exams centre in Akure, confirmed the Council's major goal, as noted by Akinkuehin, which is 'to develop for public benefit the science of good management practices'.

BEEC, which conducts highly rated professional examinations in the specialised areas of Management and Business boasts of Certificates and Diploma of international standard.

Examinations are held in July and December each year at approved centres all around the world.

The ongoin diet continues till Friday, 13th December.

Business Education Examinations Council presents its compliments.

The 29th Graduation and Prize Award Ceremony of Business Education Examinations Council (BEEC) will hold on Wednesday 18th December 2013 at the Main Auditorium of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Commerce House, 1, Idowu Taylor Street, Victoria Island, Lagos at 9.30 am prompt. Highlights of the ceremony will include the conferment of Certificates and Diplomas and special prizes to the qualified students. There will also be special Prizes Awards of Excellence to distinguished corporate achievers in their areas of specializations.

As a graduating student you are requested to report at BEEC office immediately for your accreditation. The convocation fee per student is N10, 000 (Ten Thousand Naira) only payable in cash at BEEC office. The amount covers hiring of Academic Gown.

It is extremely important that you participate in the graduation as no other arrangement will be made for issuing of certificates after the convocation

You are also requested to come with at least five invitees to the ceremony.

Also, rice is the second highest worldwide produced grain. It is important to man's nutrition, providing more than fifth of the calories consumed by human beings.
Meanwhile, rice can be cultivated in regions with low labour costs and high rainfall, as it is labour-intensive to cultivate and requires ample water....to be continued.
