Let me share a little bit about myself. In fact, let me tell you my story, so that you can understand my perspectives regarding life in general and about automobiles (my chosen profession) in particular.
My Story...

I am an Indian, blessed to be born in an Army officer’s family. I lived in more than 8 cities during my childhood and changed six schools up to my 11th grade or SPM as we call it in Malaysia. I think my love for people and discipline in life comes from those experiences of having to make new friends in every city or school.
My Work Experience...
I have been in the automobile business for over 40 years, working with all kinds of transport products—from 2-wheelers to agriculture tractors, premium cars, light trucks to heavy-duty trucks and buses.
Honestly, my studies did not prepare me to be a technical person. I came to the automobile business by accident when, as a fresh post-graduate, I was introduced to the Managing Director of a multi-branch dealership in North India for a branch manager position. My interview lasted less than 2 minutes and ended with the MD instructing his General Manager to hire me and "Show him the ropes"!
At first, I felt cheated because, as a topper in my studies, I had prepared for a longer interview. In retrospect, those 4 words, “Show him the ropes,” probably made my life. During the first few months of this job, I worked in all the 3 S functions of Sales, Service & Spares. I handled accident repairs, worked at parts counters, workshop floors, made sales calls and more. I had a scientific background and a Master’s in Economics, both of which require logical thinking. However, Economics made me realize the value of Finance in businesses.

I have carried that Learning spirit & approached every career move in the same way as my first job in Chandigarh: learning on the fly and respecting people as I learned from salesmen, technicians, and parts handlers by asking questions and clarifying my doubts. It also helped that during the beginning of my career (in the eighties), the Sales & Service functions were combined into one, and the Workshop or Dealer Manager was responsible for the entire business of the dealership.
My Passion...
Developing people is my passion. I have been in the business of changing behaviors for over 15 years across various countries and cultures.
My Belief...
I believe that not only are all people different, but they also have untapped potential that can be exploited for the benefit of the individual and the team they belong to, thereby increasing profitability and customer satisfaction. Value the differences and collaborate as a team!
My Approach...
I engage in consultative activities to help businesses and individuals with smooth change solutions. By taking a basic approach, I help people to change at both individual and team levels, thus developing a change culture while learning and having fun along the way. Moving from current behaviors to desired behaviors, one step at a time...
