LOoking for a Accountant to join our team,
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Financial reporting including upkeep and preparation of accounts.
Preparation of Management accounts on a monthly basis, including variance analysis.
Overseeing local operations in terms of financial control.
Assist with reporting, forecasts, and budgetary processes.
Identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations.
Liaise with the bank if and when necessary.
Assist in other ad hoc work as directed by the owner.
Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
Generating and issuing of invoices to clients
Able to prepare accruals and depreciation schedules.
Preparation of payroll reporting


Skill-sets and Requirements

Proficient use of Microsoft applications
Excellent command of English is a must and candidates with working proficiency of Maltese will be given preference
At least two years of previous experience in a similar role
An organized team-player
Able to work on own initiative.


Education & Experience

Part-qualified in ACCA or in possession of an equivalent accounting qualification
