🏁 Well, here we are, the 2026 BMW International Trophy done and dusted. 1,500 km of Romanian trails and mountains explored, many, MANY friendships made, and a riding experience each and every one of us will never forget. 🥹

When asked if I’d be interested in joining and documenting Team Australia back in December, I said yes, but I also wanted the team to decide. And I’m so damn glad they accepted me with open arms.

The camaraderie within this team was effortless. We had each other’s backs through thick and thin the entire way and moved together as a unit.

The girls came 3rd overall. Podium. What a fantastic feat by them. I was always so impressed every time they finished a stage because they made it look so damn easy.

And the guys, well, they came P4 overall. Not the outcome I think anyone was expecting, because these guys rode like you wouldn’t believe. But even with a few setbacks, and one major one, the Aussie boys sucked it up, soldiered on, and didn’t let it affect their morale. We were gifted an opportunity of a lifetime and a team friendship that anyone could only dream of.

For me, my riding ability has doubled, if not tripled. The guys coached me for the entire six days, helping me improve my form, which saw me tackling uphill climbs I never thought I’d be able to conquer. Whenever I dropped the bike, they were there to help recover it, keep me cool-headed, and coach me on why it happened. Each tiny insight made a world of difference, and now it’s up to me to keep practising, keep improving, and keep having fun.

Thank you, Team Australia 🇦🇺, for this wild experience. You’re all bloody legends. And thank you BMW Motorrad Australia for choosing me and trusting me to document the team and the experience of the 2026 BMW International GS Trophy.

Day 5 of the 2026 BMW International GS Trophy - The A team 🇦🇺 came P2 in both challenges today moving up from P5 to P4 (remembering we were pushed down to P8 only 2 days ago from rim damage). Still a ways to go to make podium. The boiz moral is high, especially after riding through some of the best trails this land has on offer.

The girls slipped down into P3 from P2, but with double points on the card… ANYTHING can happen. They’re just going to control what they can and leave the rest up to the race lords ’s not a race.

Day 4 - The boiz are on! 💥P2 for challenge 1, P2 for challenge 2, P2 for the video challenge moving us up to P5 from P8 (plum last). Redemption has begun!

The Aus ladies are also killing it coming in at P2 overall.

It’s a P2 kinda day.. let’s see if we can push it further 💪🇦🇺

Day 3 - A tough day in the office. The boiz crushed today’s challenge coming in at P2. But sadly we’ve fallen down the ranks to plum last due to a bent front rim on Darcy’s bike costing a heap of points 😣

We’re at the halfway point and if it’s one thing I know about endurance races (although this isn’t a race) - is that ANYTHING can happen. We’re still high vibing, because well - we get to ride dope adventure bikes through some of Romanias most stunning landscapes.

The ladies are knocking it out of the park though, coming in at P2 overall 💪

Oh and we saw Dracula’s castle today 🧛‍♂️ 🦇

What a solid start to the International GS Trophy. A massive long day with constant views and trails. I’ve already racked up well over 100gb of footage, and we still have 5 days to go. I need to chill 😬.

We hung rode with team Japan today - they were so much fun 🇯🇵🇦🇺
