Keen observers of the local automotive industry will tell you of the upcoming realization of Uhuru Kenyatta's National Automotive Policy which aims to bias said industry more towards local content with less reliance on external factors.

One would thus assume that used car importers should be facing the future with cautious enthusiasm mixed with just a touch of dread at the looming threat of extinction.

Not BE FORWARD.

The Japanese firm is not only bullish about the scene, they're backing this positivity up and doubling down on their efforts by ramping up their local operations.

One would thus assume either they know something we don't; or they take liquid lunches down at the office and it's starting to show.

Oddly enough, the logic behind the expansion is as wholesomely beautiful as it is elegantly simple; and one can't help but wish more people followed this style of thinking.
