Paul reminds us that though we may think we are at the end of our rope, we are never at the end of our Hope. Our perishable bodies are subject to sin and suffering, but God never abandons us. Because Christ has won the victory over death, we have eternal life. All our risks, humiliations and trials are opportunities for Christ to demonstrate His power and presence in and through us. We must ask ourselves, "could I handle the suffering and opposition that Paul did?" The success syndrome is a great enemy of effective ministry. From an earthly perspective, Paul was not very successful. Like Paul, we must carry out our ministry, looking to God for strength. When opposition, slander or disappointment threaten to rob you of the victory, remember that no one can destroy what God has accomplished through You.

Treasures undisclosed.

Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand). Jeremiah 33:3. AMPC.

When Hagar was dying of thirst, the Bible reveals in Genesis 21:19 that, *‘‘...God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.’’* The Lord opened her eyes to see the well that was already there. There’re amazing and stupendous things that have been inaccessible for ages.

1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:9 says: *“...Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”* The above scripture talks about you. There’re things God has kept from ages and generation just for you. The prophet of Old stopped the sun, split the sea, held up rain for years but couldn’t see what God kept for me today.

There’re treasures undisclosed. Never be envious of another person’s gift, success, or wealth; There’re hoards kept hidden for you right from eternity. There’re realms no man has ever walked in. Job 28:7-8 says: *“There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen: The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.”* This is remarkable!

I’ve had the privilege to see diversity of gifts, diversity of miracles, great deal of wealth, techniques and more in this world; but there’re things no man has ever seen. Beloved, the best is yet to come and it has your name engraved on it. You’ve got to wake up every day with the confident expectation of new realities— expect something new today.

PRAYER

Dear father, thank you for you always hear me whenever I call. Even as I pray now, the answers to the cries of many are revealed to me by your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

SEEK GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART.

Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee. Zechariah 9:12.
We need to educate the soul to lay hold, and hold fast the rich promises of Christ. The Lord Jesus knows that it is not possible for us to resist the many temptations of Satan, only as we shall have divine power given us from God. He well knows that in our own human strength we should surely fail. Therefore every provision has been made, that in every emergency and trial we shall flee to the Stronghold.... We have the word of promise from lips that will not lie.... We must individually cherish the faith that we receive of Him the things He hath promised.

God will be to us everything we will let Him be. Our languid, half-hearted prayers will not bring us returns from heaven. Oh, we need to press our petitions! Ask in faith, wait in faith, receive in faith, rejoice in hope, for everyone that seeketh findeth. Be in earnest in the matter. Seek God with all the heart. People put soul and earnestness into everything they undertake in temporal things, until their efforts are crowned with success. With intense earnestness learn the trade of seeking the rich blessings that God has promised, and with persevering, determined effort you shall have His light and His truth and His rich grace.

In sincerity, in soul hunger, cry after God. Wrestle with the heavenly agencies until you have the victory. Put your whole being into the Lord's hands, soul, body, and spirit, and resolve to be His loving, consecrated agency, moved by His will, controlled by His mind, infused by His Spirit, Sons and Daughters of God.

Tell Jesus your wants in the sincerity of your soul. You are not required to hold a long controversy with, or preach a sermon to, God, but with a heart of sorrow for your sins, say, “Save me, Lord, or I perish.” There is hope for such souls. They will seek, they will ask, they will knock, and they will find. When Jesus has taken away the burden of sin that is crushing the soul, you will experience the blessedness of the peace of Christ.

Thanks. God bless you today.

*THE HEALING POWER OF THE WORD.
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (Psalm 107:20)

The word of God has the inbuilt supernatural power to do numerous things, one of which is to heal. The Word of God is Spirit (John 6:63) and He gives life to the spirit, soul and body.

On the other hand, sickness is an agent of death working against God's plan of health for your life. The Lord says in Exodus 15:26, ‘I am the Lord that heals you.’ How does He do it? Psalm 107:20 gives us the answer. "He sent His word and healed them."

The Word of God is the vehicle which brings you healing. The healing power of God is released as you interact with the Word of God in different ways. As you: (1) Hear the Word; (2) Meditate on the Word; (3) Believe the word; (4) Speak the word; (5) Obey the Word; (6) Stand on the Word/Hold on to the Word.

We can receive all kinds of healing and deliverance in our spirits, souls, minds and bodies as we relate with the word. Each way of interacting with the Word, releases the healing power of the Word.

For every kind of sickness, there is a Word. For every situation of affliction, there is an instruction by the Word which when obeyed will bring healing. If you do what is instructed in the Word, the healing power of God in the Word is released to you, with no respect for persons or favoritism.

God bless you all.

Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.”

Proverbs 4:23 (GNT)

God is far more interested in changing your mind than changing your circumstances.

We want God to take away all of our problems, pain, sorrow, and suffering. But God wants to work on us first. Transformation won’t happen in your life until you renew your mind and your thoughts begin to change.

Your thoughts are powerful. They have tremendous ability to shape your life for good or for bad. For example, maybe you believed the lie someone told you about yourself when you were growing up: “You’re worthless. You don’t matter.” If you accepted that thought, even though it wasn’t true, it shaped your life.

The way to be careful with your thoughts is to examine them because some thoughts are good, but others aren’t. Careless thoughts lead to a careless life.

This is one reason you get mentally fatigued: There’s a battle going on in your brain 24 hours a day. Satan is trying to neutralize your mind—your greatest asset in this battle. He wants you focused on negative and destructive thoughts that will distract you from God’s love and goodness. The struggle can be debilitating.

Your thoughts determine your feelings, and your feelings determine your actions. To change your life, change your thoughts.

Have a Blessed week ahead.

Psalm 37:7 NLT

‘Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for Him to act.’

- Sometimes we are called upon to be patient and to wait for God to act.
- How desperately we would like to see Him act now, and turn things around.
- However, we often find ourselves in a process that we have to walk through.
- So let us take God at His Word and know that in His time, it will happen.

PRAYER: Lord, I am so often in a hurry to see the breakthrough. I ask that You would help me to be patient as I trust in You. Your timing is always impeccable and so I will not be discouraged but I will hold onto You. Amen.

Have a great Sabbath day.

_The more we walk in the light of the truth, the more we_ shall become like Christ in spirit in character and in the manner of our work, and the brighter will the truth become to us. As we behold it in the increasing light of revelation, it will become more precious than we first estimated it from a casual hearing or examination.

I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock. I will find my sheep and rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on that dark and cloudy day.
• Ezekiel 34:12

As the shepherd loves His sheep, and cannot rest even if one be missing, so, in an infinitely higher degree, does God love every outcast soul. Men may deny the claim of His love, they may wander from Him, they may choose another master; yet they are God's, and He longs to recover His own.

7 Facts About the Seventh Day

Adapted from Why God Said Remember by Joe Crews.

Part of Satan’s strategy to destroy humanity’s trust in God has been to attack His claim as the Creator. Obviously, the theory of evolution is part of this deceptive and soul-destroying effort. With its amoral humanistic emphasis, Darwin’s doctrine has turned millions into religious skeptics and enshrouded in darkness their need for the Savior.

Yet while many Christians rightly denounce this unscientific belief, ironically, many are still falling into the devil’s trap of denying God’s sovereignty over the earth. That trap is the ages-long effort to twist and destroy the observance of the seventh-day Sabbath.

Through Satan’s false information and man’s trust in traditions over the sure word of Scripture, millions of Christians have been led to discount or even reject the importance of observing the Sabbath. “The seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord: … in it thou shalt not do any work” (Exodus 20:10). No one disagrees with the clear meaning of this text, yet millions are finding ways not to follow it.

Why? The general Bible ignorance of the church and the clever arguments of Satan have created a climate of prejudice against the holiness of the seventh day in favor of the observance of Sunday. So in the interest of promoting God’s law over the theories of men, let’s take a moment to rediscover some amazing facts about the seventh-day Sabbath.

Fact #1:

The Seventh-day Sabbath Establishes God’s Sovereignty

Why does Satan hate the Sabbath so much? Because the Sabbath identifies the true God and His claim of ultimate sovereignty.

God certainly anticipated the controversy over the Genesis account of Creation. He knew that after the fall of man, there would be doubts about His claims of manufacturing all the staggering mass of matter by merely commanding it to exist.

To safeguard His sovereignty, He established a mark that denoted His absolute right to rule as Lord. He chose to memorialize His display of creative power by setting aside the seventh day of the Creation week as a holy day of rest and remembering.

God wrote these words: “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work. … For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is: … wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it” (Exodus 20:8–11).

Once a week, as the earth rotates on its axis through space, the Sabbath reminder travels around the earth reaching every man, woman, and child with the message of an instant creation and the one who did the creating.

Why did God say remember? Because to forget the true Sabbath is to forget the true Creator.

Does it really matter that much? See “The One Unimportant Commandment?” below.

Fact #2:

The Seventh-day Sabbath Was Made for Everyone

A multitude of Christians call God’s fourth commandment the “Jewish Sabbath.” But nowhere is this expression found in the Bible. The seventh day is called “the sabbath of the Lord,” and it is never called “the sabbath of the Jew” (Exodus 20:10).

Luke, a Gentile writer of the New Testament, often refers to things that were particularly Jewish. He writes of the “nation of the Jews,” “the people of the Jews,” “the land of the Jews,” and the “synagogue of the Jews” (Acts 10:22; 12:11; 10:39; 14:1). But he never refers to the “Sabbath of the Jews,” although he mentions the Sabbath repeatedly.

Christ also taught that “the sabbath was made for man” (Mark 2:27). Adam and Eve were the only two people who existed when God actually established the Sabbath. There were no Jews in the world until 2,000 years later, so it was never meant just for the Jews. Jesus uses the term “man” in the generic sense, referring to all mankind. The same word is used in connection with the institution of marriage that was also introduced at creation. Certainly no Christian can

To reject the Lord's servants is to reject Christ Himself... With a great show of prudence the rabbis had warned the people against receiving the new doctrines taught by this new teacher; for His theories and practices were contrary to the teachings of the fathers... Thus many rejected the truth that would have proved the saving of the soul. Our condemnation in the judgment will not result from the fact that we have been in error, but from the fact that we have neglected heaven-sent opportunities for learning what is truth.

MOVING US CLOSER
to a National Sunday Law

By Benjamin Franklin, Enforced Sunday Law Coming to America, page 21-22

A second important ecumenical gathering made an important decision This meeting was held on November 14, 2007, in Washington, D.C. Significantly, it was originally planned to be held at the Pope John Paul Cultural Center in the northern part of the city. But, when news leaked out that the purpose of the gathering was to consider the feasibility of initiating a campaign to ram through Congress a bill to enact a National Sunday Law, the location was quickly switched to a hotel elsewhere in the area.

The stated purpose for such a meeting revealed the urgency in some minds of getting such a law passed. It was recognized that there was a necessity of not only involving the member churches of CCT,—but also bringing the leaders of the various U.S. Christian Right political action groups on board. Therefore this November 14 meeting was held, which many attended.

Representatives from Christian Coalition and a number of other Religious Right political leaders were present. The special topic on the agenda at this meeting was to consider whether the time had come to push Congress to enact a full-blown, National Sunday Law here in America! Arguments in favor 21 of it were presented by a Roman Catholic, and a Seventh-day Adventist was invited to attend and present arguments against such a plan.

Although there was some mixed feelings, many of those present felt that, in order to restore morality to the nation, a Sunday Law for the entire nation would greatly help solve the problem. A follow-up meeting was held the next week. Nearly two months later, the next annual assembly of Christian Churches Together convened on January 8-11, 2008.

Organizational plans and networks were set in motion, in order to begin coordinating the massive number of local churches and members on the “campaign to fight poverty.” If carefully laid plans for an enforced Sunday Law eventually succeed, it will be the crowning achievement of Pope Benedict’s papal reign. There are reasons, going back for centuries, why this would be a triumph for the Vatican. Later in this book we will discover what they are. However, fulfillment of this goal cannot be postponed too long.

Pope Benedict only has a few years remaining in which to accomplish his objective, to enforce Sunday observance in America and throughout the world. Born on April 16, 1927, he will turn 81 in 2008.

Those church leaders, who are intent on binding Americans with obedience to a National Sunday Law, may be very sincere—but they do not realize what it will lead to. They have not studied history—nor the disaster earlier Sunday Laws brought to families and nations. Later in this book, Moving Us Closer to a National Sunday Law, we will discover this also.

But the Founding Fathers of our nation did know. And that is why they wrote the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution !
