RARE FIND: Ducati 1199 Superleggera — Auction closing in 10 days

I’ve clocked something pretty special. This 2015 Superleggera, white and red, has covered just 5,203km and is heading through JBA Yokohama at auction.

One of only 500 ever built. Full carbon fibre bodywork, magnesium wheels, dry weight under 156kg and over 200bhp, Ducati's ultimate homage to lightweight performance, and it's stayed one of the great modern collector bikes ever since.

Not RMD stock, but I spotted it and wanted to share it with followers before the hammer falls.

Interested? Email me before the auction closes.

Rick Degan on the Millyard sale

I've been around motorcycles since Kawasaki built their first one, and I still didn't see this coming. £130,000 for a bike Allan Millyard built himself, in a shed, using a Dodge Viper V10. Not a factory prototype. Not a numbered edition with a marketing department behind it. One man's engineering brain and a welder.

That's the part people miss when they see a headline number like that. This wasn't a bike that got expensive because somebody in a boardroom decided to make 50 of them and call it exclusive. It got expensive because it's honest. Millyard built it because he wanted to see if it could be done, and then he did it properly, not as a stunt.

I've sourced and moved a lot of iron in my time, clean US imports, rare Japanese machines, bikes with real history behind them. What I respect about the Millyard sale is that it proves the market still knows the difference between rare and remarkable. Plenty of things are rare because only a few were made. This is remarkable because only one man could have made it.

Tim Whittaker got himself a piece of motorcycling that can't be repeated. You can't commission another one and get the same thing. That V10 howl, that shed-built madness, it only exists because Millyard decided to try it.

Money well spent, in my book. Fancy talking motorcycles, email me at

Now this is a special one. 1975 Suzuki RH250, or the RH75 as some of you old timers call it.

This bike's sitting at my shop here in Japan right now, and I gotta tell you, these things do not turn up often.

We're talking 51 years old and it still fires right up and runs strong. Previous owner stretched the kick start shaft out 10mm so his boot wouldn't clip the pipe on starts, small detail but it tells you this bike was ridden and cared for by someone who knew what they had.

You also get a bonus set of new side covers with it, no other spares though. What's in the pictures is what you get.

I've been around the motocross scene a long time and RH250s are about as tough to find as anything in the VMX world. Last time I had one of these through my hands was over 15 years ago. That tells you something.

I'm not in a rush to move this one, but if your interested make me an offer. The best way to reach me is by email at [email protected]

We ship worldwide.

Honda VFR400 NC30 race bike, located in Delaware, USA.

Here we have a Euro spec NC30. Bodywork and paint are good, full stainless exhaust, new alloy radiators and stainless brake lines.

Somebody spent money sorting the back end too, Maxton shock and a 17 inch rear wheel on Renthal sprockets so you're not stuck hunting down 18 inch race rubber. Solid rearsets on there as well.

Comes with a rear stand and a spare set of 17 inch wheels, so you're set up to run it hard from day one.

These little V4s are getting harder to find. Priced at $6,500 USD.

Message me if you want to know more.

What a beauty.

1969 Honda CB750 spotted for sale. At 38,000 USD she sure ain’t cheap, but it looks a quality job. Hard to believe this sandcast is 57 years old. Still looks a class act.

Looking for your dream Honda, email me at [email protected] and let’s get the wheels in motion.

Ducati 955SP – More details

A contact of mine has asked me to help find a home for this Ducati 955SP with an interesting history!

Purchased in 1996 and later featured in the motorcycling press, this 955SP was built for track use only and has spent most of its life as a part of a private collection, including a long stay at Lake Hill Motors motorcycle museum in Corinth, MS. It hasn't turned a wheel since it went into the museum.

The bike has been sitting for many years and has not been detailed. What you see is what you get. Full history and documentation available, including the original bill of sale and magazine feature.

The owner is asking 85,000 USD and I’m told it's firm.

Just to be totally clear, I'm sharing this on behalf of the owner as a favour, I'm not a Ducati expert and I don't own the bike, so I can't answer detailed technical questions myself.

If you're genuinely interested, email me and I'll put you in direct contact with the owner, who os happy to answer any questions you might have.

Thanks folks

All hail King Kenny!

People assume I grew up idolising Kenny Roberts from a distance. Truth is there's only 7 years between us, and our paths crossed plenty of times over the years. He was never some untouchable legend to me, he was just the guy who rode harder and smarter than everyone else and happened to do it in that yellow and black speedblock livery that every kid on this side of the business still recognises on sight.

So seeing Yamaha bring out the XSR900 GP in Legend Yellow hits different for me. It's not nostalgia dredged up from old race footage. It's a paint scheme I watched being made history in real time, on a rider I actually knew.

What I like is Yamaha didn't just slap the colours on and call it a tribute. The GP has the tech Kenny never had back in his racing days, but it wears his era like it's still current. That's a hard thing to get right. Most retro builds either play dress up or forget what made the original special. This one remembers.

If you want to know why a paint job can carry that much weight, ask someone who was actually there. I was. And Kenny earned every inch of that yellow.

2025 Honda CB1300SF-3SP — spotted on the auction listing for 2 days time

Only 86km on the clock. Basically a showroom bike with a title. This one's not out of my own stock, just something that caught my eye scrolling the auction listings and thought was worth flagging.

Starting bid is ¥1,400,000 — around $8,900 USD. No idea where it'll land once the bidding gets going, but a CB1300 this fresh doesn't turn up often.

Big-bore, air-cooled, four-cylinder, Honda still building them the old way right up until the end of the line. Worth keeping an eye on.

Rothmans Honda NS400R

My eagle eye spotted something special on the auction block in Japan this week. A genuine Honda NS400R in full Rothmans colours, the two-stroke V3 that HRC built to take on the 500s and give Freddie Spencer a shot at the world title.

Auction closes in 5 days, starting at ¥700,000. £3,325. $4305. Full listing and bidding here:

Not one of ours, but too good not to share. Get in touch if you want help bidding or shipping one home.
