How do children picture a container-ship?

To find out, during this summer, CMA CGM decided to launch a drawing competition for its employees’ children called “My Beautiful Boat”.
The contest was a huge success! Children of all ages, from all over the world, sent their little masterpiece by drawing CMA CGM Ships in all shapes and forms, and were rewarded with gifts for their talent and imagination by the Group!

The CMA CGM MARCO POLO, a 16,000-TEU vessel on the FAL1 line, loaded a Predator 92 yacht at Hong Kong on July 3rd.
The yacht, which weighs 68 tonnes, was loaded with the assistance of a floating crane and placed in an upper hold on twelve 40’ flat racks. It was unloaded by a gantry crane in Southampton – its final destination The DPW Terminal had to employ special equipment for the job.
This equipment will be used again in subsequent operations when necessary.
