DON'T MISS: Positive motorcycles is back on the radar, and this time the story is less about the EGERA itself and more about the Italian outfit moving forward to get riders on the road. The Lake Como startup says it is entering a pre-seed round after five years of self-funded R&D, with a validated prototype, suppliers secured, distributors identified and testing up to 175 km/h (108 mph) already under its belt.
We covered the bike before when the big talking point was the machine’s style and spec sheet. This new update moves things a bit. Positive is no longer just saying “look at our bike.” It's now saying “let’s build a business.”
That matters, because riders have been down this road before. A sharp prototype is one thing. Getting bikes built, sold, serviced and supported is definitely the hard bit.
