Continental's AT2 all-terrain tires are a recent launch optimized for off-road performance, making them ideal for track testing events like one in Goa. It was held on the 19th and 20th of January 2026.
Continental's Conti cross contact AT2 all-terrain tires excelled during testing at Goa's track, showcasing key features tailored for rugged Indian conditions.
Key Features Proven: Exceptional wet and dry traction from Traction plus Technology ensured confident handling on Goa's mixed track surfaces, including slippery corners and high-speed straights. The aggressive tread pattern with big blocks and wide grooves provided superior grip during off-road simulations, preventing slippage on gravel-like sections.
Track Performance Highlights: Directional stability and low noise stood out, delivering smooth, quiet runsโideal for SUVs. Aquaplaning resistance via optimized water expulsion kept braking consistent in wet track zones, while durable construction handled lateral forces.
Mud Track Performance: Traction plus technology delivered superior grip on muddy sections, powering through deep mud without slippage via self-cleaning shoulder blocks and stone ejectors that cleared debris instantly. Rigid tread blocks maintained stability on steep inclines and declines, preventing bogging down even in the challenging extreme track.
Water Handling: The tires resisted hydroplaning effectively in water patches, with reinforced sidewalls and Black paw compound ensuring consistent traction and quick water expulsion during ditches and wet inclines. Braking remained precise and shock absorption minimized noise, supporting smooth navigation over rugged wet terrain
