STICKY FLAPS
JLR’s most common fault which goes largely ‘miss’ diagnosed especially at main dealers, resulting in catastrophic engine failure .

80-90% of all td6/sdv6/F-Pace will suffer with THROTTLE BODY FLAPS STICKING in their lifetime.
Leading to excess strain on turbo(s) blocking DPF’s and in many cases so much strain the engine simply leaves the chat all together.

Main dealers will read the fault code ( P0234-77 ) and begin to fire up the parts cannon. After New DPF’s (£2k+) & New turbos(£3k+) and months off the road the fault tends to come back within 2-4 weeks.

This simply isnt acceptable for a 2 hour job and a little bit of knowledge.

Stealth Grey ST
After being rear ended this gorgeous ST was looking worse for wear with the rear exhaust ripped off and tail gate and boot floor crumpled in.
Being quoted over £3000 by insurance company to repair the damage a loyal customer gave us a call. Having informing the customer of what parts were needed he got them ordered and we set to work
Firstly removing all damaged parts to access the boot floor. porta-powering the rear floor and pulling with chain and a 6 tonne body hook everything started to resemble a functioning car again.
Removing the head liner and B pillow to wire in the new tail gate.
Repairing the floor back to factory spec and fitting new rear support bar was next before offering up the rear bumper and making some alignment adjustments.
Finally with tailgate,bumper, trims and accessories fitted back in place, all that was left to do was refit the exhaust system.

Upon completion it was sent for 4 new matching tyres and a new mot ( insurance purposes) to prove roadworthiness.
✅ALL DONE WITHIN A £1600 budget.✅
