The Statesman Vintage & Classic Car Rally is an annual vintage car rally in New Delhi and Kolkata and the oldest, continuously-run such event in India and the sub-continent. Started in the year 1964 in New Delhi, and brought to Kolkata in 1968 as The Statesman Vintage Car Rally, it is now known as The Statesman Vintage & Classic Car Rally. The main organiser of this event is The Statesman. The maj

or attractions of the event are assembly of vintage and classic cars, followed by a drive through the city where cars are assessed for originality and performance on the road section; display of period and fancy dress; grand parade and live music. The 57th The Statesman rally in New Delhi will be held on February 11, 2024 (two rallies in intervening years did not take place, because of the 1971 war and the 1973 fuel crisis).
