Ever since the first teaser image was showcased, the Škoda Slavia has been garnering a lot of attention and generated a huge buzz for itself among the potential buyers.
Recently, images started to appear of the Slavia reaching the showroom floors, which further increased the anticipation for the C-segment sedan. The Rapid and the Vento had witnessed remarkable sales in the market and even to this date, they are selling in good numbers. So, it is obvious that people would be eager to have a look at their successors, hoping for some amazing adrenaline rush and a very neat and comprehensive package.
The biggest hurdle or rather, litmus test for them has to be their pricing. Pricing is especially crucial because the market is currently very skewed towards SUVs in all shapes and sizes. And although not confirmed, certain sources have started sharing leaked pricelist of the Škoda Auto India Private Limited . And based on that it could be seen that Škoda is targetting two segments with one product. It could therefore slot into both the upper niche of the C-segment sedans like the City, Ciaz, Verna, and also try to fill in the void created due to the higher price-point of the new Octavia, thereby entering the D-segment as well!!!
