It's yet another boost for Modi Govt's ambitious project 'Make In India'.

Czech car maker Skoda Auto has said that India will become an export hub for the company. Skoda is set to commence exports of vehicle kits for assembly in Vietnam from next year.

The company, which posted a whopping 125 per cent year-on-year surge in its vehicle sales at 53,721 units in 2022, also sounded hopeful of growing into double-digit this year as well.

Similarly, Volkswagen Group sales grew 85.48 per cent year-on-year at 1,01,270 units in the previous calendar year.

Harley-Davidson has announced the launch of the new 2023 Pan America adventure tourer motorcycle in the Indian market. The new ADV has been tad higher than the previous year model at Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Apart from a higher price tag, the rest of the details remain unaltered on the motorcycle.

The company has only introduced the 'Special' trim to the Indian market, while the standard version has been taken down the portfolio. The new Special trim is available for purchase in both alloy, as well as spoke wheel. The spoke wheels version also gets tubeless tyres and demands Rs 1 lakh premium over the alloy wheels version.

Tata Motors crossed 50 lakh cumulative passenger vehicle production milestone.

The auto major achieved the 10 lakh production mark in 2004 and the 20 lakh milestone in 2010. It crossed 30 lakh units in 2015 and 40 lakh units in 2020.

"This journey, from each million to the next, has been one replete with its fair share of ups and downs," Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Managing Director Shailesh Chandra said in a statement.
