Integrating AI isn’t a tech upgrade—it’s a team development challenge. 🧠

Most leaders focus on tools and automation, but they miss the real impact: declining trust and "silent" dysfunction. If your team is afraid to make mistakes with AI, they’ll stop innovating.

The 4-Step "Psychological Safety" Framework for AI:
Reframe it as a Learning Process: Expect discovery, not perfection. Early missteps are valuable data, not failures.
Model Fallibility: If the AI confuses you, say it. If you made a mistake, share it. Curiosity is contagious.
Smart Failure Protocols: Differentiate between "smart risks" and "sloppy mistakes." Test AI in low-stakes environments first.
Human Over Machine: Empower your team to trust their judgment. AI is the assistant; the Human is the boss.
Stop reacting to AI. Start leading through it.

Leadership is Service, NOT Power

Leadership is not about power. It is a responsibility and to be a good leader, you need to guide, motivate and develop your team. Most people chase the title, but they aren't ready for the reality. If you want to reach the C-Suite (and stay there), you need to internalize these 7 truths:

1️⃣ Trust Titles: You get one chance to lead. Don't waste it. 2️⃣ The Service Trap: You report to everyone now. 3️⃣ Emotional Contagion: Your mood is the company’s weather. 4️⃣ Hire Right: The best people don’t need "managing." 5️⃣ Clarity is King: Direction beats charisma every time. 6️⃣ Own Your Flaws: Your team already knows them. Own them first. 7️⃣ Extreme Accountability: When it fails, look in the mirror.

Stop managing. Start leading.

🚀 Which of these hits hardest? Let me know in the comments.

Build an unshakable Team Trust
High morale and performance don't happen by accident. They are built on a foundation of trust. If your team is disengaged, you likely have a trust deficit.

In this video, we cover the 4 pillars of elite leadership: 1️⃣ Audit for Trust: Find the gaps before they become craters. 2️⃣ Radical Transparency: Stop just announcing decisions—explain the "Why." 3️⃣ Active Listening: Host Q&As that actually address team fears. 4️⃣ Self-Investment: Master EQ and communication to bridge the gap.

Don't just manage. Lead with intention.

MEET THE RIDERS WHO SPAWNED NIGERIA’S BMX SCENE

The unlikely story behind the growing two-wheel trend in Africa.

It started with a chance encounter, stumbling across some second-hand bikes from the United States in a shop. And following a trawl of some internet videos, it has spawned into a burgeoning scene in the city’s capital, Lagos, transcending socio-economic backgrounds. Here is all you need to know:

The scene only really started six years ago as rider Star Boy, aka Matthew Temitope, a mechanic in Lagos, was among those to stumble across some vintage 1980s freestyle BMXs. After watching videos with friends on his phone and in internet cafes, they began to try out their own style of tricks.
Star Boy said: “We were inspired by professionals, watching their videos. We were all amazed, like ‘wow’ and that’s how we got started. I love . We have a vision that one day is going be known here in . Without BMXing, maybe we would be out there doing some kind of s*** or going to clubs, getting drunk, causing trouble and doing all sorts. We have to express our feelings. If you feel you’re upset, just go get your bike, hit the streets, do some tricks.”
There are no skateparks or tracks at which to practise, instead Star Boy and his friends simply use what they have at their disposal on the streets.
The riders come from a variety of backgrounds. KK Money, aka Ibrahim, works as a teacher and sees parallels between his career and sporting passion. He said: “I love imparting knowledge. If I could teach a student one lesson that has taught me. If you fall off a horse, you must surely climb back. Once you get it right, it is forever. has taught me commitment, that yes you can do it.”
SKing, whose real name is Segun Adosu, said that saved him from a life in gangs in and is grateful for stumbling across it almost by default. “My new bike had written on it so I wanted to know the meaning. So, I searched Google. I saw a ton of videos, and that’s all I’d watch. I’ve been love with them [BMX] ever since.
SKing, who hails from the Nigerian city of Makoko, explained of his past: “I was like a gangster. From the moment I started riding, I left the negative stuff behind. This is why I set my mind to it. has taught me so many things. If it wasn’t for , I wouldn’t be progressing. The way people see me now makes me happy. People aren’t like ‘this kid is a piece of s***’ they’re just like ‘he’s the dude’.”
Photographer Tyrone Bradley travelled to earlier this year. He said: “It’s a seriously DIY scene. Bikes and parts are not available except from international mail order which makes it rather unaffordable. The riders can’t even find tubes and the copious amounts of patch repairs look more like some sort of street barnacle infestation than a practical solution. is life to these guys and they’re not afraid to let it show. They are riding for the purest of reasons and the scene has brought guys from the heaviest of slums and upper middle class together

THE PEUGEOT EF01 BICYCLE WINS THE JANUS INDUSTRY AWARD

The French Institute of awarded this label to the electric folding bicycle during the ceremony held on 17 December at the Quai d’Orsay in Paris. The jury was convinced by the “last kilometre” mobility concept of the bicycle, the simplicity and rapidity of its folding mechanism and its value for money. The designers at the studio imagined this folding system and the optimal compactness of this bicycle to facilitate its multimodal use.

KTM SIGN MULTI-YEAR DEAL WITH LIAM EVERTS

Everts, 14, has evolved as a racer in the last year, and his speed in just a second term with an 85cc motorcycle led to a third place finish in the EMX85 European Championship. While Liam is able to count on the expertise and peerless achievements of his father Stefan – who is currently recovering from illness – he can also rely on the advice from four-times world champion and grandfather Harry as well as his mother, Kelly, who was so central to Stefan’s motocross efforts as he laid siege to all classes of the FIM Motocross World Championship.

The Everts’ will operate out of their own structure in 2019 as Liam prepares for his first season with the KTM 125 SX; the motorcycle with which Rene Hofer scored victories and red plates as EMX125 European Championship leader in 2018.

Liam Everts: “It feels like an honour for me to ride with KTM because it feels like they are the best brand in motocross. We have a long deal in place but I have been on a KTM for a while now and I love the bike; it’s amazing how it handles and how it fits my style. To get this contract is great. I’m really happy and I’m really looking forward to the future. Hopefully we can make some nice things together, we’ll go step by step and build along the way.”

Robert Jonas, VP of Offroad: “Liam comes from one of the best family names in motocross and while that also gives him an advantage it also brings pressure, but we’re excited by what we have seen from him so far. It’s clear the progress he has made with his pace and technique in 2018 and that points to even more potential. It is still early but he could go all the way. Liam is clearly making the commitment to at the highest level while looking at the next steps to get better and to enjoy success, so we’re really happy to be there with him.”
