British car maker announces pricing for its first ever product in India, to take on premium SUVs like the Mahindra XUV500, Jeep Compass, Tata Harrier and Kia Seltos. MG Motor unveiled the Hector recently and we have driven the SUV too, so the only piece missing in this puzzle was the Hector's pricing, which the manufacturer has announced today. Prices for the MG Hector, the manufacturer's first offering in India, begin from Rs 12.18 lakh for the base petrol version and go up to Rs 16.88 lakh ex-showroom for the fully-loaded diesel version. It's styling is certainly a distinct highlight given the split LED daytime running lamps and headlights up front, as is the new design language on a lot of SUVs these days, but more importantly, the Hector is being pegged by MG Motor as India's first 'connected car' as it uses a massive 10.4 inch touchscreen that is connected to the internet full-time and offers immense connectivity to the car even when away from it. MG is offering the Hector with an interesting choice of powertrains options, including a petrol-hybrid version and of course, a diesel motor.

Japanese carmakers Toyota and Suzuki entered a global agreement in 2018 to share certain models. And the first shared model for India is here in the form of the Glanza. The Glanza is Toyota’s version of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the two cars are near-identical in every way. The Toyota does get a longer warranty and is not offered with a diesel engine. The Glanza is available with petrol and petrol-electric hybrid engines, and there’s the option of a CVT auto as well.
It’s easy to mistake the Toyota Glanza for a Maruti Baleno, because the grille and badges are really the only points of difference between the two hatchbacks on the outside. There’s little to tell the two cars apart on the inside either. Unfortunately, this also means that cabin quality is fairly mediocre by class standards. What you will like the Glanza’s interior for is the sheer space on offer. The large boot also ups the car’s practicality quotient.
The Toyota Glanza shares its petrol engines with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and, unsurprisingly, the driving experience is also the same. The standard 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine is peppy, refined and efficient, and the 5-speed manual gearbox is also nice to use. City dwellers will find a good combination of efficiency and convenience in the CVT automatic variant. Interestingly, the 90hp Glanza mild-hybrid is significantly cheaper than the equivalent Baleno. The hybrid version’s promise of enhanced performance and economy should be a big draw for buyers.

W India has launched the new generation 2019 BMW X5 SUV in India, prices starting at Rs 72.9 lakh ex-showroom. The new SUV was unveiled in June last year internationally. The new X5 is noticeably larger than the outgoing car, with the wheelbase, width, height and length all increasing.
n terms of styling, the X5 follows the theme set by recent BMW cars. While it looks familiar, a closer glance shows the car to have new design elements throughout. The front grille is larger, the new full-LED headlamps are a more angular design with an optional laser lighting system also available. The side profile is a mix of subtle curves and straight lines, which helps to balance out the slightly more squared-off look of the new car. The rear-end design is unique among other BMW SUVs thought with the rectangular taillamps and the powered split tailgate.
The larger size has translated into more room on the inside as well. There is a new 12-inch touchscreen system in both the centre console and in the instrument cluster featuring the latest iteration of IDrive. A head-up display, new Bowers & Wilkins stereo system, conversational speech recognition control, gesture control and a rear seat entertainment system with touch functionality round up the major new tech features. An optional third-row seat is also available now.
The X5 is offered with one diesel engine and two petrol engines - both in-line six-cylinders. The 3.0-litre, six-cylinder diesel xDrive30d diesel, puts out 265PS and 620Nm and the turbocharged 3.0-litre, in-line six petrol with 340PS and 500Nm is also on offer.
The BMW X5, though still dynamically superior to its rivals, has been facing stiff competition from the likes of the Range Rover Sport, Audi Q7 and the Volvo XC90. The new SUV will hope to match its rivals in terms of refinement and interior quality, while still being the preferred choice for those who are looking for an agile, responsive SUV.

After years of rumors, predictions, and spy photos, Porsche has finally done what many automakers already have: Turned its full-size SUV into a "coupe." This is the 2020 Cayenne Coupe, and from most angles, it basically just looks like a big Macan.

As extreme as some of the Cayenne Coupe sketches were, the final product is a bit less aggressive than competitors like a BMW X6 or Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe. A big active spoiler at the base of the rear window is standard across the entire Coupe range, as is a panoramic sunroof. Chairman Oliver Blume calls it "more progressive, athletic, and emotional." Sure.

Of course, underneath, everything is pretty much the same as it is on a normal Cayenne.

The Italian supercar maker has revealed the official images of the F8 Tributo. The Ferrari F8 Tributo is a new mid-engined sports car that replaces the Ferrari 488 GTB. The new F8 Tributo will be showcased at the 2019 Geneva Motorshow which will be held between March 5 and March 17.

The F8 is powered by the company's most powerful V8 ever created with a power output of 730PS and 770Nm of torque produced from a 3.9-litre 90-degree V8. In addition, weight reduction measures have cut the car's dry weight by 40 kg and the new car produces 50PS and 10Nm of torque compared to the 488 GTB. This results in 0-100 km/hr time of 2.9 seconds and 0-200 km/hr 7.8 seconds. The F8 Tributo is capable of hitting the 340km/hr top speed mark.

The 2019 Ford Endeavour facelift has launched in India. Prices for the seven-seat Ford SUV start at Rs 28.19 lakh. The Ford Endeavour is available with two engine options – a 2.2-litre, prices for which range between Rs 28.19-30.60 lakh and a 3.2-litre, which is priced at Rs 32.97 lakh. Competition for the Ford Endeavour facelift in India ranges from the likes of the recently launched Mahindra Alturas G4 to the extremely popular Toyota Fortuner, and even the Skoda Kodiaq.
The updated Ford Endeavour gets a new triple-slat grille with new styling bits and a new black painted bezel around the fog lamps. The new Endeavour also gets blacked out headlamps with LED daytime running lights and HID headlamps. Other changes on the exterior include a new set of 18-inch wheels in a two-tone black and diamond-cut finish. Around the rear, there are no changes in terms of design, however, Ford has added a virtual pedal to open the boot with a swipe of the foot below the rear bumper, which is quite a handy feature. There is also a new colour on offer – as seen in the images above – called ‘Diffused Silver’, which replaces the older shade of grey.
On the inside, the Endeavour now gets a black and beige, two-tone dashboard as compared to the older version that got a brown-black-beige combination. The gear lever has also received an update with a chrome bezel and the SUV now get keyless entry and a start-stop button. Other features include a touchscreen infotainment system with Ford’s excellent Sync3 user interface along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
