Just to clear up a rumour that seems to be going around — O’Reilly’s Auto Service & Repair is NOT closing.

We’ve had a few phone calls today from concerned customers asking about it, so I want to address it directly. This is completely untrue and appears to be an unsolicited rumour. It’s unfair not only to us as a business, but also to anyone taking it seriously.

We are open as normal, busy as ever, and continuing to provide the same service you all know us for.

If you ever hear anything like this, feel free to contact us directly rather than relying on hearsay.

We just want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to all of our customers for the continued support — it really doesn’t go unnoticed. 🙌

We’ve been flat out and it’s all down to your trust in us, so we genuinely appreciate every booking, recommendation, and bit of custom.

At the minute, availability is very limited between now and then, with the next full free day not until the 18th of May. If you’re thinking of getting work done, we’d highly recommend getting booked in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Also, just to let everyone know — due to how busy things are, it is currently taking us a bit longer than usual to reply to pricing requests and messages. We are getting back to everyone as quickly as we can and appreciate your patience.

We’re looking for a qualified, experienced mechanic to join a busy independent garage, working 4 days per week
This role would suit someone who can work independently, diagnose faults correctly, and take pride in their work.

Hours:
Monday – Thursday
7:30am – 5:30pm
3-day weekend every week

Pay:Very competitive rates for the right person

Pay based on experience and ability

Requirements:Fully qualified mechanic

Own tools required

Experience with all makes & models

Good spoken and written English

Reliable, organised, and professional

About the garage:
Independent business located beside my home
Simple, practical setup — not a main dealer
Clean workshop, steady workload
Run properly, with respect and no micromanagement

Opportunity to grow into a senior role as the business expands

We just want to let all our customers know about our updated opening hours, which are now

🕢 Monday – Thursday
7:30am – 5:30pm

We’ve actually been trialling these hours since last summer, and after seeing how well they’ve worked for both ourselves and our customers, we’ve decided to make them permanent going forward.

This change allows us to maintain the high standard of work and service we pride ourselves on, while also giving us a bit more family time outside of work. Running a small local business can mean long days, so this balance helps ensure we stay focused, reliable, and ready to give every job the attention it deserves.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our customers for your cooperation, understanding, and continued support while these hours were being trialled — it really is appreciated more than you know.

As another year comes to an end, I wanted to take a moment to properly thank everyone who has supported O’Reilly’s Auto over the past year.
To all our customers, thank you for trusting us with your vehicles, for the continued custom, the recommendations, and the patience when jobs took longer than planned. Your support truly means more than you know.

I’d also like to say a massive thank you to all our suppliers. Your reliability, knowledge, and willingness to go the extra mile behind the scenes plays a huge part in keeping our business running smoothly day in, day out.

🎄 A Huge Thank You From O’Reilly’s Auto 🎄

As we come to the end of another busy year, I just want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to all our customers — new and old.
Your support, recommendations, loyalty, and patience throughout the year mean more than you know. Every service, repair, remap, and call-in helps keep a small local business like ours going, and I genuinely appreciate every one of you.

We will be closed from the 19th of December and reopening on the 5th of January to give the tools (and ourselves!) a much-needed break.

There are very limited spaces left before we finish up, so if you need anything sorted, now is the time to get booked in.
