Four years ago, this GPZ900R stood at the Croatian premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in Zagreb.

Today, the same bike is on display at Airspace World in Lisbon — one of the world’s biggest aviation and air traffic management events.

What started as a tribute to the original movie bike slowly evolved into something much bigger:
a full restomod project built around aviation culture, engineering and pure passion.

Seeing aerospace professionals, pilots and ATC industry people stopping beside the bike all day long has honestly been a special feeling.

Funny where passion projects can take you. 🙂

Every custom bike looks beautiful when it’s finished.
What people rarely see is this part.

A complete teardown of the GPZ900R.
Engine stripped to the last bolt.
Wiring removed.
Frame stripped bare.
Hundreds of hours spent measuring, rebuilding and improving every detail.

This wasn’t meant to be a restoration.

The goal was simple: Build the GPZ900R we dreamed of as kids watching Top Gun.
Stage 2 had officially begun.

Long before the magazine features and international exposure, there was only passion, friendship and an idea.
