Everybody really wants this.

The kind of trip where the kids are off the back into the water with the jet ski and seabob before anyone’s even unpacked, and everyone still gets their own corner to disappear to after.

We toured Ruya at MYBA 2026 in Sanremo and she lives up to her name.

Rüya means “dream” in Turkish. And stepping on board this 41 metre Alia Yacht, built in Turkey in 2016 and refitted in 2021, with design by acclaimed Australian designer Sam Sorgiovanni — it’s easy to see why. The interior is awash in warm tones inspired by the Australian outback, bamboo and silky ash throughout, and it genuinely stands out.

5 cabins, 10 guests, crew of 9. A 3-deck atrium staircase adorned in marble, bamboo and Australian silky ash interiors, a 93m² sundeck with full bar and 10-person whirlpool bath, beach club, gym and a toy list that covers everything.

Multi-award winning too. World Superyacht Awards 2016 winner, ShowBoats Design Awards winner for both interior design and naval architecture. A yacht that was recognised the moment she launched and has held her standard ever since.
