Mediterranean Autumn Boat Show Season 2026

The Master Yachting, Frauscher Adriatic and The Yacht Mastery teams started the 2026 season at Internautica Portorož, followed by Salone Nautico Venezia and a series of exclusive events across the Mediterranean, showcasing Lagoon Catamarans, Beneteau, Delphia, Dracan Marine and Frauscher Boats.

It has been another rewarding season. Alongside a well-deserved summer break, we delivered a substantial number of yachts, welcomed many new owners to the yachting lifestyle and celebrated numerous successful sales. The superyacht brokerage market reached €762.4 million in July 2026, with 52 yachts sold.

That is an 89.3% increase in total sales value compared with July 2025.

But the more interesting number may be this:

62 price reductions removed €57.35 million from the market in a single month.

A healthy market does not mean every yacht is correctly priced.

For buyers, stronger activity can create pressure to move quickly.

For sellers, strong market reports can create unrealistic expectations about what their yacht should achieve.

Neither should replace proper analysis.

The largest publicly priced sale of July was the 67.6-metre Amels Neninka, offered at €85 million, while the 61.5-metre Sanlorenzo Lemon Tree led new listings at €62 million.

From an independent advisory perspective, July confirms two things:

There is serious capital in the market.

But buyers remain selective.

The right decision still depends on valuation, technical condition, comparable transactions, ownership costs, timing and negotiation, not headline market numbers.

Buy or build?

The real trade-off is not only price.

An existing yacht offers faster access, a physical asset to inspect, a known operating history and the opportunity to conduct surveys and sea trials before commitment.

A new build offers greater control over the layout, specification, materials, systems and long-term ownership profile.

But greater control requires greater involvement.

The question is not which route is universally better. It is which route best serves how the owner intends to use the yacht.

Buy when the right yacht already exists and the remaining compromises are acceptable.

Build when the owner’s requirements are specific enough to justify the additional time, complexity and ex*****on risk.

Sometimes the right answer may be a controlled refit, a semi-custom platform or a project already under construction.

Every route should begin with a clear ownership brief, before the market or a shipyard begins influencing the answer.
