Do you remember Top Gear, where where Clarkson and friends attempted to destroy a 1988 Hilux? For the uninitiated, they drove it into a tree, left it on a beach for the incoming tide, demolished a building with the car on top and set fire to the unfortunate pickup. Using only some basic tools, the Hilux got running again, and even delivered the crew to the TV studio.

Toyota's reputation for producing ridiculously reliable cars, combined with the boxy uncompromising pickup aesthetic has meant the Hilux brand is as indestructible as the car itself.
From the first model in 1968 to the current 8th generation, everyone has seen, owned or been transported (sometimes unwillingly) in some form of Toyota Hilux.

PARA64 is proud to present as it's 25th casting the very same 4th generation model that featured in Top Gear's Unbreakable Hilux, instantly recognisable by its square boxy fenders.

Fully licensed by Toyota, we have included a detailed chassis, treaded tires, free rolling wheels and separate clear parts for front and rear lights. You can also just look at the picture.

We know you hate prequels. The world is running out of fossil fuels, clean water and new ideas. So now we're going fuel the fire by following up our highly successful CTR series by bringing in the OG RUF.

The BTR (Gruppe B Turbo Ruf) is the Patient Zero of RUF cars, being the first model to bear a RUF specific VIN in 1983. Based on the 930 Turbo, the Ruf BTR wasted no time getting famous winning the "World's Fastest Cars" title held by Road & Track magazine in 1984.

In true PARA64 style, we are throwing a spanner amongst the pigeons and offering as our 26th casting the even more exclusive BTR Slantnose (auf Deutch: Flachbau) developed from the 948 Porsche and converted by RUF. This was our chance to bring something less obvious to our collectors, and brings back memories of the legendary LeMans winning Porsche 935 except with space for golf clubs.

Fully licensed by RUF, we include our usual free rolling wheels and separate clear parts for front and rear lights.

A sequence of three numbers that until 2001 would have either have been met with “what is your emergency?” or “mid-life crisis?”

Despite associated world changing events, 911 in petro-speak will forever mean an extraordinary driving experience, with every generation of ‘Neunelfer’ an icon of its time.

From its origins in 1964 to the current 8th Type 992, every generation has taken the whole industry forwards, cementing the rear-engined sportscar paradigm further.
Yes we know the 993 was the last air-cooled incarnation, yes we know what turbocharging lag is and sure manual transmissions are cooler than PDK.
So where’s your air-cooled Porsche? Yes, that’s what I thought.

No one has ever called the entry level 911 ‘Poverty Spec’ but the variants such as the GT2 RS and GT3 RS are the ones which adorn the walls of auto-enthusiasts.
However (and it’s our personal preference) we find the less obviously aggressive models stay closer to the original ethos of the 911.

Therefore it is our privilege to announce our first modern 1:64 Porsche, fully licensed and to our usual quality and specification but now with *metal chassis* and *rubber wing mirrors* in response to our collectors suggestions.

Audi introduced their R8 LMS in 2015 as their GT3 class car, replacing the highly successful R8 LMS Ultra. The V10 powered track machine is one of the most popular amongst customer racing teams, taking P1 finishes at all the main endurance races including Nürburgring, Spa, Bathurst, Dubai and Suzuka.

The 1973 911 Carrera 2.7 RS is the most recognised and sought after of Porsches (citation needed), with its ducktail spoiler and familiar 911 narrow body - replicas exist in all scales by many modelmakers. Its successor remains unrepresented in premium 1:64 – until now. PARA64 brings another barn-find to the community under advice from Beardedmugmedia.

Significant changes were made in 1974 adding a 3.0L engine, wider wheels with center-lock hubs, front spoiler with oil-cooler and the distinctive ‘whale-tail’ wing.
The result dominated the GT category – with the 3.0 RSR becoming the most successful Gr.4 racing car of its time.

After regulation changes made the all-conquering 917 obsolete, Porsche factory concentrated on the turbocharged 934/935, tasking privateers such as Kremer and Gelo in Europe and Brumos in the US to wield the 3.0 RSR. 52 RSR 3.0s were built in Weissach, but FOMO drove numerous customers to update their earlier 911s to RSR spec.

D. H. Lawrence called the epic novel Moby Dick "one of the strangest and most wonderful books in the world" perhaps writing the future for the Porsche 935/78.
Technical designer Norbert Singer took advantage 1977 FIA regulations, lowering the previous 935/77 but increasing it in track and especially length. The 935/78 was first shown in public in all white with an extended whale tail and wing - earning the nickname “Moby Dick” after the mythical white cetacean.

Like Captain Ahab’s maniacal quest of revenge against the whale that bit off his leg, the Porsche Factory team were hell bent on creating something insane for the Gr.5 category, leaving customer teams (like Kremer) to compete with their 935s which were already world class. Moby Dick’s first race at the Silverstone 6 Hours was the first sign of danger, where it ate the competition winning with a 7 lap margin over P2.

We present the Bisimoto's reimagining of the Moby Dick - built on a 1977 Porsche 911 Turbo chassis and featuring an authentic 935L body from the original molds. This is an EV conversion without parallel. We have included links in stories for further reading.

The addition of this model to our portfolio is testament to the power of words. Countless discussions have taken place with our collectors on social media asking for US cars or USDM models (is this a backlash against JDM?).
The die was cast (pun aggressively intended) when Bryan from the Lamley Group made the suggestion for the '99 Civic Si Coupe after noticing the Electron Blue icon was missing from the higher end of 1/64.

Although most recognised in the USA as the Civic Si, the EM1 body type was also sold in other regions under different badges, and with different colours available.
In Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, it was known as the 1.6VTi VTEC. In Australia, NZ and it was called the Civic VTi-R.

The motoring press of the time were unanimous in their praise of this unassuming and practical coupe, with equal grocery carrying and hooning capabilities (below and above 6,000 rpm respectively). More recent articles fondly remember a simpler time which the Civic Si exemplifies by doing all the essentials perfectly in a discrete and sensible package.

PARA64 has kept the standard trim, launching initially with rear factory spoiler with free rolling wheels and our usual separate parts for lights.

The 2014 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport: facelifted, body-on-frame, Super Select 4WD-equipped. It manages to look both boxy and purposeful at the same time and is ‘unconventionally good looking’ - a phrase that has never worked in a pickup line.

Built on the Triton platform primarily in Thailand, this generation delivered the rugged capability, Super Select 4WD system, diesel and petrol options, and practical seven-seat versatility that made it a favourite family and adventure vehicle throughout the region.

The Pajero Sport is a recognised part of the ‘roadscape’ in many countries. Part of the appeal is its analogue, almost agricultural character which is why they remain a common and well-maintained sight both on the roads and in used car listings.

Thanks to requests from our collectors PARA64 brings this cornerstone of civilisation in 1:64 scale, in our usual solid standard. Shipping in Q3 2026 in Pyrenees Black and Cool Metallic Silver. LHD versions are Montero / RHD versions are Pajero, in two different wheel styles.
