最近喺馬鞍山嘅服務，係3年前嘅另一個囘頭客。 佢最近更換了輪胎，因此需要保護新輪胎免受刺穿。 安裝大約需要35分鐘。A recent service in Ma On Shan, another repeat customer from 3 years ago. He recently replaced his tyres so needed to get protection from punctures in the new tyres. The installation took about 35 minutes.

Puncturesafe 拯救了 Puncturesafe 公司車！ 昨晚，當我駛出停車場時，我聽到前排乘客側輪呔發出奇怪的聲音，並發現照片中的金屬螺絲/夾子組合刺穿了車呔。 我們輪呔內的凝膠溶液減緩了洩漏，但輪呔每轉一圈，螺絲就會前後移動，讓一些空氣漏出。 解決這個問題花了 30 秒——我把螺絲拔了出來，聽到一聲響亮的「噗」聲，空氣開始逸出，然後跳回車裡，啟動引擎並開車。 不到5米，聲音就停止了，洞口也被封住了。 我知道上車並開始行駛的 30 秒內會損失一些呔壓，所以後來我在加油站停下來並打滿了呔氣，在那 30 秒內損失了大約 10 psi，但駕駛相當安全。 我從尖沙咀到筲箕灣並順利返回，今天早上輪呔已完全沒有漏氣。 那個刺孔被永久密封，不需要做任何其他補呔。 如果我們沒有安裝PunctureSafe安全裝置，我會浪費一個小時來安裝後備呔，然後不得不浪費週日的一半時間來去補呔。

Puncturesafe saves the Puncturesafe vehicle! Last night as I pulled out of the carpark I heard an odd noise coming from the front passenger side tyre - and discovered that the metal screw/clip combination in the photo had punctured the tyre. Our gel solution inside the tyre was slowing the leak but with every revolution of the tyre the screw was moving back and forth, allowing a bit of air to escape. Fixing the problem took 30 seconds - I pulled the screw out and heard a loud “psshh” sound as air started escaping , then jumped back in the car, started the engine and drove. Within 5 metres the sound stopped and the hole was sealed. I knew some pressure was lost in the 30 seconds it took to get in the car and start moving, so I later stopped at a service station and topped up the air pressure, it had lost about ten psi in that 30 seconds but was quite safe to drive. I travelled from TST to Shau Kei Wan and back with no issue and this morning the tyre is fully inflated. That puncture is permanently sealed, nothing else needs to happen. If we had not had Puncturesafe installed I would have wasted an hour fitting the spare and then have to waste half of my Sunday getting the old tyre repaired.

Royal Mail Group have been investigating tyre sealants for some time now because tyre costs annually are considerable and downtime caused by tyre related incidents is a major problem for us.

We were not sure of the difference between the many sealants in the market so we approached a significant number of tyre sealant manufacturers in Europe and the UK, including PunctureSafe. We tested 4 of these products extensively at various Royal Mail depots around the UK, over many months and in different types of vehicles.

We were delighted with the result of these trials and in particular the performance and service levels of PunctureSafe. Our puncture rate has reduced dramatically since we begun using it, and downtime caused by punctures has been reduced significantly.

Initially we awarded two contracts to supply with a view to selecting one company for a solus contract if they could meet all our service criteria and operate at a level consistent with a supplier to a large blue chip company. Unfortunately, the product and some service levels of one of the companies we issued a contract to, did not live up to our expectations. However I am glad to report that the PunctureSafe product lived up to all our expectations so therefore they have been awarded the sole contract to supply puncture prevention for our 32,000 vehicle fleet.

The service that we have had from PunctureSafe UK has always been excellent and very professional and we look forward to a long and rewarding relationship with them.

We had two services in the last few weeks where the client Did have a flat tyre but did Not have a puncture- it was a structural issue with the tyre itself in one case , and worn out valve stems in another. In that case, for a small extra fee, we are happy to remove the tyre, arrange it to be replaced or repaired at cost, and then return to the vehicle and fit the tyre. Many clients find this preferable to the time and cost involved in calling a tow truck and then arranging alternative transportation to the tyre centre and negotiating with a tyre shop. We had a Flat Tyre Repair service on Monday this week, at a residential carpark near Tuen Mun , a BMW SUV. A bolt puncturing the rear wheel had left our client unable to move the car without damaging the tyre (see below) . The client had just had new tyres fitted a few months ago. Our mobile service vehicle arrived at 5.15 pm , and treated the punctured tyre , re inflated it and then removed the bolt. After driving a few km the hole was permanently and completely sealed by 5.45 pm. We also installed Puncturesafe into the other tyres to avoid problems in the future, and inflated the tyres to the manufacturers recommended pressure. It’s now several days later and the client is driving every day with no issues. The client was able to avoid the expense of a tow or replacing tyres and had the problem fixed at his apartment compound.
