Team Guyana closed the 53rd CARIFTA Games in Grenada with 6 medals - 4 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze

The standout moment came from the 4x400m Mixed Relay team (Easton, Springer, Dover, Austin), who shattered their own CARIFTA record in 3:20.79, continuing Guyana’s dominance in the event.

Gold medals also came from Tianna Springer (U20 400m), Malachi Austin (U20 400m), and Olivia Solomon (U17 800m), while Jermaine Shepherd (silver) and Javon Roberts (bronze) added to the tally.

Several others reached finals, highlighting a strong all-round performance from the 23-member team.
