Round 1 of the year at Sh*tterton with No Limits Racing NLR - HQ the track i hate the most, my absolute bogey track.

My only goal coming into this round was to just finish all 3 races, didnt care about lap times or places , just finish!!

Early start on Friday, leaving the house at 3am and a 4.5hour foggy drive (blind driving following cats eyes for a good few miles).. sign on complete, gazebo set up, scruitineering passed, now onto actually completing laps which actually went smoothly. Completed at 3 sessions flag to flag with no crashes or mechanicals.. ill take that as a win

Saturday.. first up was qualifying.. 6th in class 21st overall (no breakdowns or crashes)
Race 1.. managed to have a good battle with Ryan Wilson with a few obscene hand gestures to each other i had abit of a moment on the last lap so a glance behind i babied her over the line behind him 6th in class 22nd overall (no breakdowns or crashes)

Sunday.. race 2 was a boring ride around by myself, couldn't catch the group in front and then watched them pull away.. 7th in class 23rd overall.. race 3 i didnt even want to do demoted to 25th on the grid and far from wanting to be out there but then the lights went out and I grew a little set of balls 🤣 i actually enjoyed a race.. found some pace and got to have a battle with a few people and make up some places too.. 6th in class 19th overall (no breakdowns or crashes)

I may of just lost that duck off my back, a full weekend at Snet riding flag to flag with no breakdowns or crashes.. miracles can happen, plus went over 9 seconds quicker than last year

4 days in Spain @ Andalucia was a nice way to start the season, took me 4 days to get my lap time i was chasing took Harrison Josh Day 4 laps 🤣.. few finishing touches done today to get Bonnie ready for this weekends round 1 antics at the sh*ttest track out there with No Limits Racing NLR - HQ

Just finished the CB with a nice dyno, should be on par with a few we've raced against this season

We had a pretty successful first season racing the CB after having a year out taking 6th overall in the No Limits Racing NLR 2025 championship..

A huge learning curve went into this year but funds hampered the progress

Any help is more than appreciated

And just like that the seasons over

For the final time this season we went to have a play at Donington Park with No Limits Racing NLR 2025

We had some battles, set my pb, collected pebbles for my garden so all in all im pretty happy

I felt the comfiest ive felt on the trust ole battle scarred cb which makes it gutting the seasons over

99% sure i was the first and last crasher of the weekend (trying to catch Nikis tally) crashed at Mcleans in qualifying cutting the corner to much then bottom of Craners just lost the front and did some break dancing through the gravel

Ended up 6th in the championship so I'll take that all day long considering it took me half the season the actually get it running and handling half way right

Huge thank you to all the marshals and staff for helping this circus go ahead..

Everyone who has helped from day1 of the season to even the last day

Maybe I should say thanks to Kylie Dulson for being a half decent race admin/pit bitch 😘

Oulton Park race report...

Finally my home round and one of if not my favourite track

Headed down on Thursday managed to get a few sessions on the trackday and figured out a few issues on Clyde..

Only 3 test sessions on Friday morning 1 wet, 1 mixed and 1 dry so got a nice mix of riding but realised just how slow Clyde actually is (definitely needs a refresh over the winter)

Qualifying wasn't amazing still had a few damp patches on the track and cooked my brakes due to basically no pad left

Race 1 was a balls up with grid positions which led to me being put on the outside of the grid in the wrong spot and yep I got blocked from tipping into turn 1 so an angry race was incoming.. kept bottoming out the suspension which was forcing me to brake more gently and I even ran through the chicane loosing me the group in front, was slowly catching back up but ran out of laps (only needed about another 10 🤣)

A long wait for race 2 which got cancelled which sucks but nothing can be done riders safety and health comes first every time.. but was amazing for Beth Hanson & Paul David Hanson to come support me, even had the mother there with my nephew and niece for qualifying
