We have had a lot of people who have called us out due to their cars not starting. We are more than happy to do this,
However if you are not using your car as much it could be a good ideal to start and let your car run to recharge the battery.
You will need to run it for at least 15 mins. Make sure no fumes form your car will effect you and your car will be safe while running.

We’re still open

We’ve had several calls from customers since the government’s announcement Wednesday asking if we are still open so we thought it may be useful to share the following information.

From 30 March 2020, MOT due dates for cars, motorcycles and light vans will be extended by 6 months. This is being done to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Your vehicle will be automatically given a 6 month MOT exemption. This will extend your current MOT expiry date by 6 months.

Vehicles must be kept in a roadworthy condition, and garages will remain open for essential repair work. Drivers can be prosecuted if driving unsafe vehicles.

We will remain open to carry out repairs, we have introduced several measures to keep our colleagues and customers safe and we are offering a free collection and drop off service now covering the BS36 & BS16 area.

We ask that any customers coming onsite to drop off or collect a vehicle to please follow the instructions displayed outside the reception area.

If you’re vulnerable/ at risk we are providing a free vehicle collection and drop off service covering the BS36 area please call on 01454 777777 unfortunately this service cannot be booked online.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for an independent Which? and AA approved garage that MOT, service and repair a wide variety of vehicles.
Skills required:
Experienced Mechanic/ Vehicle Technician (MOT Tester desirable but essential)
Minimum City & Guilds Level 2 or an equivalent qualification
Full UK Driving Licence
Excellent customer service skills
A positive and enthusiastic approach
Initiative to work alone as well as being a flexible team player
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £19,500.00 to £28,000.00 depending on experience
