2023 firstly massive massive thanks to all sponsors as without them this year it wouldn’t of even been painted and sign written never mind on track I really wouldn’t be out without them!! She scrubs up well for an old girl I think. Some good pace and kings Lynn 4th in the heat and just got unlucky in the final we nearly made a top ten in a very hectic race but it wasn’t to be but we will move on and continue to improve 188 🏁

Season 2022 it’s been a blast we’ve had a few race wins got our first final win and nearly got a second final win from blue held blue most of the year. Started the European from the front row and led for a little while and even had a rare blast on tarmac 🤦🏻‍♂️ the old boat has held her own this year and done us proud. The refurb is under way already for next year and we also have a small winter project on too 😳 massive thanks to everyone involved at the track and in the background all the sponsors this wouldn’t be possible without them. Let’s see what 2023 brings also thanks to all photographers for catching the moments 👌🏼🏁 188

Semi final day

Semi final day was our first meeting on tarmac in a long time. Firstly massive massive thanks to TMR Supplies Ltd Bart Smeets rob And team for the loan of the car the day was not even possible with out them all they gave me the car to do the business but unfortunately the driver couldn’t we knew it was a long shot for a top ten but it wasn’t to be we got to grips with the car quickly in practice and felt good but getting span first bend of our semi final put an end to the little hope we had. We did finish the race but not close to where we wanted. It puts in in perspective how hard the boys on tarmac are working every week to get the pace they do I take my hat off to them all!! On to the consolation semi we go that is back on the loose stuff so let’s have a crack at that should be some race expecting 40 cars!! See you all at kings Lynn 188 🤙🏼🏁

Euro weekend 🟥🟨🟥🟨

Was a weekend of ups and downs we were in heat 1 Saturday needing good points to secure our place in the big race Sunday and we did that in the heat leading until gone half way and only 2 of the main men past us so we came home 3rd on to the final and the dreaded push that we have been fighting the car for at this track for ages came back so struggled but kept the wheels on it and finished outside the top ten so we parked the car up for the night and hoped we had done enough to get in.

Sunday we had the news we were in so we went to the draw for our position on the grid and Mason Whittle had the job of picking for me and only went and drew number 2 so that was it front row start 😎

Start 1 we got the jump and got going and got settled in but after a lot of changes the push was still there we held on to the lead until the race was stopped.

Restart we got off the line again and led a lap or 2 until a couple of cars got us then one of them had a problem mid bend and stopped leaving us no where to go but for a crash and that is where the race ended for us with lots of damage to both me and the car.

Big thanks to the lads that fixed it at the track while I was unable too due to an injured hand couldn’t of done Sunday without them 👏🏻👏🏻

Unsure of our next outing awaiting on hand repairs hopefully we will make it to take our place on the world of shale grid but if not we WILL be on the semi final grid in a tarmac car!! Let’s see if we can have a tad of luck and squeeze on that grid in September 🤞🏻🤞🏻🏁🏁

Well over winter we did a few minor things 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣 it was a long slog with bad health mixed in but we got them done and turned out for the first meeting of the year real happy with how they both have turned out and the comments made about them made it worth while and was all worth it to put mine down victory Lane in its first heat of the year 🏁 massive thank you to all people involved and sponsors old and new roll on the rest of the year 188 323

Work has started on one of the cars for the winter refurb after one last run last weekend with my brother at the wheel.
