The Farm School of Motoring is a family run business, offering driving lessons in Widnes, Runcorn, and surrounding areas, for over 27 years. Due to an increase in demand for our services over the years, we have found it necessary to increase in size, therefore lessons and availability can be tailored to suit your needs. To provide a better quality of service, our team of instructors strive to make

us one of the leading driving schools in the Halton area. We currently offer driving lessons in:

Runcorn

Our services are available to learner drivers, and extend to advanced driving and refresher courses for qualified drivers, including lessons to take you from beginner to test standard, Pass Plus when qualified, motorway tuition, refresher courses for the rusty, and if you find that you can't reverse between two parked cars, we can even help you with that. Help is also available to get you up to speed with the Theory and Hazard Perception tests.

Hi everyone, the wait time for tests is 5 to 6 months this is why most driving schools don't have any available spaces to start new customers. We have the odd space when somebody passes their test but it's not as fast as we would like it so if you have called recently or you know someone that has I would like to apologise for not being able to fit them in

Everybody's waiting list for lessons is currently very big. This is due to a huge backlog going back to covid. There is now a 4 month wait for tests also, this is another reason that spaces are very rare, please be patient and keep trying to book.
