That’s the MG TD done!

An absolute pleasure to work on this one what a beautiful looking car they are.

This job involved a lot of mechanical work, including removing the engine and gearbox and rebuilding/replacing a range of components along the way. We also fitted a brand new fuel tank, which we painted in house and really sets the car off nicely.

The mustang mach 1 has been undersealed now we have put the floors in! Looks great and now a few exterior issues under the rocker moldings to sort and then in for a little paint 😁

The 70 mach 1 mustang is coming together nicely. A new set of floors are in the post and a bunch of the mechanical side has been done already. Cant wait to see all of the welding completed and then this car in underseal.

Last day in the workshop before a Christmas break!
The 964 is coming along Nicely and is really start to look the part.
Soon to get the engine rebuilt and back together and in the car and then the body can be painted.

1985 Mercedes C123 in for a wide range of work including an injection system refresh, interior improvements for comfort, rust repair and paintwork, and addressing multiple vacuum system leaks.

With the windscreen and dash removed, we repaired corrosion along the scuttle panel and rebuilt the lower door edges. Everything is now back together, repainted, and looking fantastic.

A lovely car and one that’s becoming increasingly rare to see. Best of all, this customer enjoys driving it whatever the weather.

1997 Subaru Impreza Turbo.
This car had been sat for 13 years before being put on our ramp to be brought back to life, and it is now a beautiful example. When it arrived, the car had seized brakes, a seized clutch, rotten outer sills, a seized AC pump, a fuel tank full of rust, and a whole host of other issues that come with a car left standing for so long.

Despite the task at hand, we cracked on and replaced the timing belt, idlers, water pump, and tensioner, alongside a brand new radiator accompanied by a fresh set of silicone hoses. The fuel system also got a similar treatment with a brand new fuel tank, Walbro 255 fuel pump, complete set of fuel lines, and filters.

The braking system received a full overhaul, including a complete rebuild with new pistons and seals, and the calipers were blasted and painted in Porsche Acid Green along, with new hoses and lines fitted in Porsche Acid Green the lateral arms and ARB etc got a coating and a new set of Group N bushes along with other suspension components here and there. The power steering pump, we all know these Subaru pumps are known for problems at the best of times was replaced with a genuine old stock pump, which works perfectly. Alongside that, the engine received a full service and all vacuum lines were replaced, leaving the car running spot on.

We carried out all of the welding work which, all things considered, wasn’t too bad. Once complete, the car was fully undersealed and all inner sills, rails, and crevices were wax-oiled. The body was then fully repainted to restore the original colour, which had badly faded over the years, and all original lights and fixtures were refitted to bring it back as close to stock as possible.

Minus the big wing, of course… but who doesn’t love a big wing?

The 1968 Mercury Cougar, after being with us for a long time, is approaching completion. It has had a bunch of mechanical and wiring work completed, along with the welding, full removal of the welded in dashboard, and removal of the scuttle to repair some nasty corrosion, plus a full respray. All done in house, and now just awaiting a handful of bits to finish it off. The panels need slight alignment here and there, some underbody protection done, and the windscreen fitted. This will allow the rest of the interior to be built up, and it will look so much more complete. This car is epic, but we are on the home stretch and all hands are on deck until she is done! What a beautiful car!
