5 Mistakes people make buying a VW Transporter

Fit For Purpose. 

Make sure that the van is right for you. You need to ask yourself how will you use the van? What is it you want from the van and for the camper adventure. 

Smaller than you thought

We see it alot that people dream about hitting the round in a camper van and they’ve never been camping or been in a camper before. So if you haven’t done it before it can feel a lot cosier than you think. But most people buy them to go and explore out side so it’s ok to feel cosy on the inside. 

Blowing the budget

Spending all the money on the campervan and not realising the additional bits your might need. Camping equipment can be costly and you want to make sure that setting off on an adventure is stress free and the van is loaded up ready to go. You might want extras like an awning, wind breaks bedding and camping gear.

Not Learning the van

Going straight to campsite and not spending time with your van learning the genral day to day usgae. Gain an understanding of your van how things work and how to look after it in the long run. 

Ignoring the base van.

Seeing a stunning conversion can win you over but if the base vehicle isn’t right and up to standard it can course more headache and a more stressful adventure. However, a good van will do you for years after years.
