Chris Hutchings, Cliffs grandson a life long Ford enthusiast, now runs the business. Mores Motor Company was established by Chris Hutchings, the grandson of Cliff Mores. In the 1940’s, C.J.Mores was established a few miles from the present site. Cliff, an all things motoring enthusiast was a regular motor sport competitor, in the early days on motorcycles and latterly MG’s. He successfully compete
d all over the UK was best known for his exploits whilst competing with his wife Vera on the London Lands End Trial, winning multiple gold medals- the highest award presented in those days. Chris, who could always be seen with his grandfather in the school holidays and on weekends, has always shared his passion and worked in the motor trade for some 40 years. He has forever dreamt of running his own classic and prestige car sales company. Ultimately sharing his passion for motoring, fine classic and prestige cars. The use of the family name ensures that the very high standards and good practices that his grandfather was well known for have been fully adopted. Selling only cars that he would personally like to own and majoring on the two brands that he has always enthused about, these being Ford’s, his first love, and Mercedes-Benz. There are of course other manufacture models stocked, again these will only ever be cars he would like to own himself.
