A cross over bay brought in for some welding. The front steps were rotten and full of filler. A pair of complete steps were fitted and some other areas welded that required attention for MOT.
The rear brakes were given a freshen up with a full overhaul and hub change to the later 5 stud to match the front.

A beetle convertible was brought in for me to investigate rough running. Massive amounts of end float was found, along with quite large oil leaks.
The engine was pulled and investigated further. Unfortunately the barrels and pistons were also found to be damaged and a couple of cross threaded spark plugs added more issues.
After discussion, the chap decided to go for a full turn key engine supplied by The VW Engine Company. This was orderd and fitted here at the workshop keeping the warranty with the engine.
Whilst it was in, a full health check was carried out and any issues found were raised with the chap. A full new set of shock absorbers were fitted, a steering issue rectified and repaired correctly, gear selecror bushes renewed in the tunnel andand also 4 new tyres fitted and balanced.

A Late Bay in for its seasonal health check and MOT. Customer also requested the fitment of USB charging points for when the dont have Electric hook up available.
Problems with the electric water pump and leisure battery drain issues were also fixed.
All set for the season ahead.

This 1.9tdi T4 came into Dan's Dubs for a full service, new cambelt kit, water pump, new solid brake lines to the rear, new rear discs and pads and a thorough health check and any other areas were given the required attention.
The Camper also recieved a full clean underside and a fresh coat of stone chip on request of the client.

This T25 tdi was driven into Dan's Dubs with difficulty starting and using alot of diesel.
On inspection it was noted that one of the main feed pipes to the injectors had split and was spraying a fine mist of diesel all over the engine.

A new set of pipes was installed, the engine degreased, and the T25 ran brilliantly and now uses alot less diesel on a run.

Vw Bay Window camper van came Into Dan's Dubs with the typical sloppy gear change problems. Upon investigation it was found the gearbox required the bushes doing internally too, as well as the selector shaft bushes on the linkage in the van. People often over look the gearbox, the bush wears in here too.
A full set of bushes, new selector shaft seal and oil and the Camper selected gear tonnes better. The client was made up with the difference.
