Here's another car that is a little unusual, and with a William Towns connection. This 1972 Lotus Europa Twin Cam is being offered by Mathewsons with a guide between £17.5k-£20k and is one of fifteen GS Europas built, and the design was apparently approved by Colin Chapman and allowed to carry the Lotus badge.
The description also mentions an agreed insurance valuation of £35,000.
Perhaps not as conventionally pretty as the standard car, but it's got something about it, hasn't it?

In honour of the rather chunky bill I've got coming for the 996, here's a video I filmed last year, not long after I got it. I knew it was stiff, but seeing this really reinforced that, and I reckoned at the time it would probably have balanced on two wheels if I'd parked it right.
