One way driving school

Due to the ever increasing cost of everything. I will be having to increase my prices as from the 1st May to £33 an hour this is in line with other driving instructors in the area.
I have tried to keep the cost as low as possible but please bear this in mind when coming to your lessons from then and ensure you have the correct money.

Can I also take this opportunity to remind everyone that lessons cancelled with less than 24 hour notice will be charged half the cost on your next lesson as well as the cost of the lesson you’re having.

Less than 12 hours or no shows will be charged at full price.

Finally all lessons must be paid for at the start of your lesson NO PAYMENT = NO LESSON. This is something I have tried hard over the years not to introduce but unfortunately I am being left out of pocket week in week out.

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***

With the ever increasing cost of living I have unfortunately had to make the decision to ask that all driving lessons are paid up to date.
Lessons MUST be paid for at the beginning of your lesson or I will not be able to take you on your lesson. I am owed lots of money for lessons and as a small business I cannot continue to run my business with so much money outstanding.
I hope you all understand my position.

Congratulations to my grandson Connor on passing his driving test today. First time and only 4 minors well done buddy

Unfortunately with the ever increasing prices of fuel as well as the cost of parts and labour for cars I have had to increase my prices. I am one of the last to do this and hopefully still in the cheapest bracket.
New prices are
1 hour -£30
Block of 10 -£290
The test will stay the same at £60

I hope you understand why I have had to do this and continue to enjoy learning to drive with me

Sorry guys following yesterday’s announcement it looks like I am going to have to stop again for a while as of Thursday😢😢

I will try to contact you all individually about cancelled lessons from Thursday and I’ll be back as soon as possible

ALL LESSONS BOOKED TOMORROW AND WEDNESDAY WILL STILL BE GOING AHEAD - this is from Thursday

After the announcement this evening I’m going to have to wait for an official statement from the DVSA to know if I can work beyond Wednesday.

You guys aren’t allowed out but I can’t work from home so I have to go to work according to the government 🤷🏻‍♂️ Who knows?
