Keeping your car performing at its best isn’t just about fixing things when they go wrong — regular maintenance is key.

My own Mercedes-Benz W205 was back in for another routine service. Even though I service it regularly, staying on top of maintenance helps keep the engine running smoothly, maintains performance and can prevent expensive problems in the future.

Nissan X-Trail 1.6 dCi – Timing Chain Replacement & Maintenance

This Nissan X-Trail came in with a noticeable timing chain noise, especially during cold starts.

Work completed:

* Full timing chain replacement
* Injector seats cleaned and prepared
* New injector sealing washers fitted
* Rocker cover gasket replaced
* New auxiliary / alternator belt fitted
* Headlights polished and restored

After the work, the engine is running much smoother and quieter, with the cold-start chain noise eliminated.

This BMW e90 320i with N43 came to us for a full timing chain replacement. To ensure long-term reliability, we replaced all the essential components:

* New timing chain kit
* New timing chain tensioners and guides
* Brand new VANOS units (Inlet & Exhaust)
* New crankshaft front oil seal
* New crankshaft bolts
* New spark plugs
* New rocker cover gasket

After careful timing setup using the correct BMW timing tools, the engine was reassembled, tested and now runs perfectly with no timing chain noise.
