We discovered a pretty little place while we were exploring Somerset, as we had time to kill before the handover of the van. It is called Burrow Mump. I would have so loved to have climbed up to the top to take some better photos but I couldn't, it was way too steep for my abilities, plus if I did make it to the top, I wouldn't have been able to make it back down. I think that it was an achievement that I got halfway up as my legs just turned to jelly - they were wobbling so much, I was stuck rigid to the spot - my husband had to hold me steady while I asked him to take some photos for me - I could not turn around. I felt so much better when I was back on level ground again. I was determined to do it & I was glad that I did it. Afterwards I was so proud of myself and thought that it was an achievement accomplished. Sometimes having a disability & having anxieties suck

Today's trip, the first day of our lockdown holiday (when we could drive further away from our own doorstep) was meant to be Exmoor, but with the main road there being closed and a diversion taking us on some very narrow roads, we decided not to risk it so we came home to enjoy the beauty surrounding us instead, Monday, 29th June, 2020.
