This is more than a theatre, it's at the heart of our Community.
For generations of families, performers, volunteers and local societies, The Brewhouse has been a place where memories are made, friendships begin and the magic of live theatre comes to life.
For The Wayfarers Pantomime Society, it has been our home since it opened in 1977. For nearly 50 years, we have brought our annual pantomime to its stage — and we desperately want to keep that tradition alive.
Working together with the amateur theatre community including Taunton Association of Performing Arts (TAPA), Taunton Thespians and Somerset Opera Group, who also regulary perform at the theatre, we’re setting an initial goal of £50,000 to contribute to the funds needed to help support The Brewhouse and secure its future.
But we need YOU.
If The Brewhouse has ever made you laugh, cry, inspired you, entertained your children, given you a special memory or simply felt like a part of your life — please help us save it.
£5, £10, £20 — every donation matters.
Every share matters.
Every voice matters.

If the theatre cannot continue despite these efforts, the money raised will be donated to Taunton Arts and Culture, ensuring your generosity continues to support the arts in our community.

Please donate. Please share. Please tag your friends and family.
Let's show just how much The Brewhouse means to Taunton.
Let's save our theatre.
Let's save The Brewhouse.
Let's keep the curtain rising.

😰 NERVOUS ABOUT LEARNING TO DRIVE? YOU’RE NOT ALONE. 🚗💚

Does the thought of getting behind the wheel make your stomach do a few laps of its own? 😬

Maybe you’re worried about:

🚦 Stalling at the lights
🚗 Other drivers judging you
🛣️ Busy roads
🔄 Roundabouts
😳 Making mistakes
😰 Or just… everything!

Here’s the thing…

You don’t need to be confident before you start learning.

That’s what lessons are for. ❤️

My lessons are calm, relaxed and completely centred around you. We’ll take things at your pace, build your confidence step by step and work on the things you find difficult — without shouting, pressure or making you feel silly for asking questions.

Made a mistake?

Good. That’s how we learn.

Need to do something again?

No problem. We’ll do it again.

Need a minute to breathe?

Take it. We’ve got time.

And when something that once terrified you suddenly becomes something you can do without even thinking about it…

THAT is the good stuff. 🙌

From your very first lesson to the day you walk away with that little pink licence, I’ll be there to help you turn:

😰 “I can’t do this…”

into

😎 “Actually… I’ve got this!”

🚗💨 From First Gear To Freedom.

📍 Taunton • Wellington • and a bit around the edges

📩 Limited spaces currently available for new pupils.

🚨 BLAKE HAS DONE IT! 🚨

A HUGE congratulations to Blake from Wellington, who has passed her driving test FIRST TIME with just 2 small faults!

And even better… excellent feedback from the examiner! ⭐️

🚕 MUM’S TAXI IS OFFICIALLY RETIRED! 😂

Well… sort of! Now Blake can return the favour and become Mum’s taxi instead!

No more late-night work pickups for Mum — she can finally have those early nights she’s been dreaming about! 😂🙌

And the timing couldn’t be better…

CAR SHOPPING ON SATURDAY!

Have fun choosing the new wheels, Blake — and most importantly, enjoy that new-driver freedom! 🎉

Well done! 🚘👏
