Unfortunately as result of lack of service maintenance ( oil & filter changes) a timing chain guide failed plastic & rubber bits was sucked up by the oil pump and blocked the oil pump pick up pipe & caused low oil pressure.

This in turn contributed towards timing chain issues.

Customer noticed the strange loud rattle metal noise.

Customer is so lucky that this engine hasn’t completely seized!

£££’s fix, all for the sake of regular oil & filter changes.

Caught just In time!

Please service your car with a garage you trust. It does save you £££’s in the long run…

Yes petrol & diesel ££’s at the pump.

However fuel pump replacements cost a lot more!

And this is why MOT tests are vital for safety.

You cannot see what a mechanic can see from an MOT pit or a ramp…

Safety checks are for a reason.
