Some people spent Saturday relaxing.
We spent it training drivers and keeping fleets compliant.
At CPC Elite, weekends aren’t “off limits” — they’re an opportunity.
If your team struggles to release drivers mid‑week, we’ve got you covered with Saturday and Sunday Driver CPC courses that fit around real‑world operations.
Start the week knowing your compliance is moving forward, not waiting for a free diary slot.
If weekend training would make life easier for your transport team, drop me a message and let’s get you booked in.

📌 Important details about the 2.5T tacho legislation: 📌

📅 Effective Date: 1 July 2026.

🚚 Scope: Vehicles over 2.5t up to 3.5t (including light vans).

💥 Trigger: Mandatory for international freight transport (hire or reward).

💥 Domestic Use: If the vehicle operates only within the UK, the tachograph requirement does not apply.

Exceptions:

Own-account transport (carrying own goods).

Driving is not the driver's main activity.

Equipment: Smart tachograph 2 (recording border crossings and GPS locations).

Are you ready? Are your drivers ready?

Operators will need to abide by EU driver hour regulations, maintain driver cards, and have the vehicles fitted with the required technology by the deadline if they operate in the EU.

One thing became quite clear was, the complexity of the role of Transport Manager. How much the business relied upon them to always remain compliant.

🚦A healthy OCRS score is a business asset.

When your OCRS is strong, everything runs smoother — fewer DVSA interruptions, fewer risks, and far more confidence in your operation.

It doesn’t happen by chance. It comes from consistent compliance, engaged drivers, and training that actually changes behaviour.

If you want to protect your licence and keep your OCRS in the green, I can help you get ahead rather than firefight later.

Strong compliance today prevents costly surprises tomorrow.
