"In May 2023, my world fell apart. After a 5.5-year battle with brain cancer, the father of my children passed away. During those final months, the hospice didn't just care for him with dignity; they held our entire family together.👨👩👧👦
That experience stayed with me. Today, I return to that same hospice on my weekends, but now as a volunteer. Supporting patients and families in their darkest hours gives me a sense of purpose and joy I never expected to find.
The road hasn't been easy. Balancing grief, a career and raising my 13 and 8-year-old children alone was overwhelming. I am forever grateful to my team at Sapphire Vehicle Services for their incredible flexibility, allowing me to work remotely so I could be the mother my children needed during their deepest depression.
