JRDetailing Ltd is Proud to Support Help for Heroes

My name is Jon, owner of JRD Detailing Ltd, and this year I'm taking on one of the biggest challenges I've ever set myself.

I'm walking 150 miles carrying a 25kg weighted pack, covering around 10 miles a day, 3–4 days a week, to raise money for Help for Heroes and the incredible work they do supporting veterans and their families.

Many of those who have served our country continue to face battles long after leaving the Armed Forces. Help for Heroes provides life-changing support with physical and mental health, welfare, financial guidance and community programmes, ensuring no veteran has to face those challenges alone.

Just £22 can help Help for Heroes reach out to a veteran in need. Every donation, no matter the size, can make a real difference to someone who has served our country.

❗️JRDetailing – Temporary Job Opportunity ❗️

JRDetailing is currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join the team on a fixed-term basis for 2 weeks, expected to be sometime in May. This position is to provide cover during a 2-week paternity leave.

Please note: The contract is for two weeks; however, exact dates cannot be confirmed as they will be dependent on the baby’s arrival.

Role Requirements:
▪️Full UK driving licence
▪️One year driving experience
▪️Confident driving a small van (provided by JRDetailing)
▪️Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic

Type of Work:
▪️Exterior washes
▪️Full Valeting
▪️Deep interior cleans (all vehicle types)
▪️Fabric roof cleaning and protecting

Training:
Before the contracted period begins, you will be required to attend paid training days (typically 1–2 days per week, hours depending) to learn how the business operates and ensure you’re fully prepared.

Contracted Hours (for the 2-week period):
▪️Monday–Friday
▪️9:00am – 5:00pm
▪️Subject to work availability

Pay:
▪️£12.50 per hour
▪️30-minute lunch break included (paid)
▪️Potential earnings of up to £1000 over the contract
▪️All fuel and insurance costs covered by JRDetailing

Potential Opportunities:
While this contract is initially for two-weeks only, strong performance and a positive attitude may lead to an opportunity of being employed my JRDetailing on a permanent basis.
Successful candidates may be offered the chance to continue working with us on a zero-hour contract for ongoing valeting work, depending on the business demand and the team requirements.
