BMW did indicators differently back then… and I actually love it. Separate buttons for left and right, then another to cancel them. Once you’re used to it, it just makes sense.

One thing I prefer on my 2003 R1150GSA compared to the R1250GSA is the Heated Grips button.

A quick look around my 23 year old BMW R1150GS Adventure and some of the little faults I’ve found so far.

Why did BMW put a 30 litre fuel tank on the R1150GS Adventure? 😅
Amazing for range. Less amazing when the bike is lying on its side and you’re the one who has to pick it up.
Would you rather have the extra range or a lighter bike?

I sold my 3 year old BMW GSA and replaced it with this… a 23 year old BMW R1150GS Adventure that had been sitting in a barn.
Sensible decision? Probably not. 😂
But there’s something about these old GS Adventures that I absolutely love.
Would you take the old one or the new one?
