With a new, automated warehouse at its production facility in Žatec, Czech Republic, Nexen Tire has increased storage capacity at the site by approximately 57 per cent. The 51-metre high, 7,104㎡ warehouse has space for some 830,000 tyres and will support growing production volumes, improve logistics efficiency, and strengthen the company’s local supply capabilities.

Tyre industry supplier Shandong Daye Co., Ltd. reports the completion of a 200MW wind power project near its production facility. The Zhucheng Daye project entered operation on 15 June 2026, with all units successfully connected to the grid and generating electricity.

Continental has won exclusive original equipment fitment on the new all-electric Renault Twingo, with the compact EV rolling off the production line worldwide on 18-inch EcoContact 7 tyres as standard. Davanti Tyres is continuing its partnership with Mission Motorsport for the 2026 Race of Remembrance, which is due to take place at Anglesey Circuit in North Wales from 6 to 8 November. Following its involvement in the 2025 event, the tyre maker says it will again support the Forces’ Motorsport Charity by supplying a range of products and making a £2,500 donation.
