Sean Keohane will retire as president and chief executive of Cabot Corporation and leave the board on 30 September 2026. Current chief financial officer Erica McLaughlin will succeed him the following day and join the board for a term running to the 2029 annual meeting. Keohane will remain with the company in an advisory capacity through the end of 2026 to ensure a smooth transition.

Ron Harper has taken on the role of chief supply chain officer at North American replacement tyre distributor and franchise operator TBC Corporation, effective June 2026. In this position he succeeds Chris Stearman, overseeing TBC’s end-to-end supply-chain operations, including planning, inventory and distribution. Harper reports directly to president and chief executive Don Byrd.

Earlier in the month, the name Michal Strnad was linked with the possible acquisition of a 14 per cent stake in Pirelli. On 30 July, Sinochem and Strnad’s investment company Lumina Crown confirmed the transaction, which reduces the Chinese state-owned group’s interest in the Italian tyre maker from 34.1 to 20.1 per cent. The transaction makes Camfin, the investment vehicle associated with Pirelli executive chairman Marco Tronchetti Provera, the company’s largest shareholder.
