Over the last 6 weeks I’ve been doing some CPD with the Disability Driving Instructors, I’ve been learning all about diverse disabilities and medical conditions.
Today was the final day of the course visiting Mobility in Motion in Alfreton Derby to get some practical hands on experience. We got to drive using lots of different adaptations from push/pull hand controls, a wireless trigger throttle, steering balls, steering aid with secondary control keypad and tried to perfect the palm and slide method of driving with only one arm and no secondary adaptions.
This was an excellent course, I learned a huge amount from some extremely knowledgeable experts in the driver training industry.

If you’re in Locks Heath or the surrounding areas and looking for driving lessons in a calm, relaxed and supportive environment, Sean can tailor each lesson to your individual needs, ability and confidence.

Sean is a fully qualified ADI who takes pride in helping his students feel comfortable behind the wheel and develop the skills and confidence they need to become safe, independent drivers.

Today we have the pleasure of saying “Congratulations” to Roni and her driving instructor Sean.
Roni managed to keep her nerves in check to achieve an excellent result at the test centre this afternoon.
Congratulations again Roni for passing your driving test and doing it in style with only a small handful of driving faults, this is an amazing achievement and one I’m sure you’ll enjoy celebrating.
Stay safe on the road and don’t forget to wave when you see Sean.

Due to several recent passes at the test centre Sean does have some weekday (during the day) availability for manual driving lessons.

This afternooon we have the pleasure of saying huge congratulations to Josh and his driving instructor Sean.
Not only did Josh pass his driving test on his 1st attempt, he passed with only 2 little driving faults which is an achievement to be very proud of.
Well done Josh, you have every right to be chuffed with that result and I know you’ll enjoy celebrating your success.
Don’t forget to give Sean a wave when you’re out driving in your own car and stay safe on the roads.

This morning massive congratulations go to Charlotte who has been learning to drive with ADI Sean.
Not only did Charlotte pass her driving test on the first attempt, she passed with only 3 tiny driving faults which is an excellent achievement and one the to very proud of.
Enjoy celebrating your success at the test centre, you’ve worked hard to gain your full driving licence now you can enjoy the freedom and independence that comes with it!

A fantastic first attempt pass with only a small handful of driving faults - an achievement I’m sure you’ll have great fun celebrating!
You can now enjoy the independence and freedom a full driving licence brings you, stay safe on the road and give Sean a wave when you see him.
