BMW Retrofit Specialists | iDrive 7 -> iDrive 8

This BMW arrived equipped with iDrive 7 and was upgraded to a full iDrive 8 retrofit, completed to OEM standards.

The project involved a full interior and exterior conversion, including lighting upgrades and a full 360° camera system upgrade. Every system operates exactly as factory intended, with BMW Live services, online connectivity, navigation, driver assistance integration, and full vehicle functionality all working correctly.

This retrofit came with several challenges. It is not a documented or supported upgrade, and only a small number of specialists worldwide are currently able to carry it out properly. Experience, careful planning, and extensive testing were essential to achieve a factory-level result.

All coding, programming, flashing, calibration, and adaptation work was completed entirely in-house. No outsourcing. No shortcuts.

Rolls-Royce Dawn | Full Service & Rectification

Vehicle booked in for a full service and comprehensive vehicle health check.
Inspection identified a rear differential oil leak. On strip-down, damaged bearings were found, which had caused internal differential damage. The differential was replaced with a brand-new genuine Rolls-Royce unit.

Customer also reported intermittent soft-close door operation.

BMW i8 in for a drivetrain warning!

This stunning hybrid came in showing a drivetrain malfunction, which we traced back to a faulty fuel temperature sensor. On the i8, that sensor is built into the low-pressure fuel pump, meaning the entire unit had to be replaced.

We had to:
- Drop the fuel tank
- Remove coolant lines
- Vacuum-fill the cooling system
- Reset all systems post-repair

Everything was reassembled, coded, tested, and the i8 left with no warning lights and running like a dream again.

This W204 C63 was brought to us due to a gearbox shudder and the torque converter slipping excessively, inspecting the vehicle revealed to us a worn torque converter. So we replaced the torque converter and carried out a complete gearbox oil service, eliminating the fault.

Due to the 6.2 V8's tremendous torque, Mercedes developed a wet clutch torque converter system. This meant it could transfer a higher torque output to the rear axle with minimum drivetrain loss. Despite its performance potential, the wear scale of this design tends to be higher than that of a conventional torque converter.
