Last week, some of our team visited Admiral’s head office in Cardiff for their Claims Supply Motor Day.

It was great to catch up with the Admiral team, give away some goodies and meet new faces from across the supplier network.

We’re pleased to be part of Admiral’s repair network and always enjoy opportunities like this to catch up and strengthen our partnership.

Thank you to Admiral for having us!

Our sites have been getting into the Halloween spirit with this year's Halloween decoration competition!

There were some brilliant displays, from giant spiders and creepy clowns to pumpkins and hanging skeletons.

A big well done to our winning sites, with Manchester East taking first place!

🥇 1st place: Manchester East – Taking things to the next level with a giant scary spider, a rather terrifying clown and plenty of cobwebs!

🥈 2nd place: Liverpool – Getting creative with pumpkins, a hanging skeleton and some great Halloween decorations.

🥉 3rd place: Trafford Park – Making an impression with their spider and hanging decorations.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and put so much effort into decorating their sites. It was great to see so many teams getting involved!

We had a brilliant evening at the Bodyshop Magazine Awards at The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Birmingham last week!

A big congratulations to Alex Henshaw from our Finance team and Stephen Halsall from our Integration team, who were both named in the 30 Under 30. A fantastic achievement for both!

We’d also like to congratulate Stefan Whyte on being a finalist for Bodyshop Manager of the Year. Well done to Stefan and all the other finalists!

It was great to see members of our team recognised for their achievements and celebrate the talent across the industry. Well done to everyone!

A big well done to our HR Advisor, Charlotte Price, who recently visited Holly Lodge Girls’ College in Liverpool to join the BBC Bitesize team for a careers session with four different year groups.

The sessions focused on careers and the skills young people can develop as they work towards their future goals.

As a local employer, it was a great opportunity for Charlotte to share her own career journey and help students learn more about the different opportunities available within businesses in their local area.

Well done, Charlotte, and thank you for getting involved!

Today, our sites came together for Ben’s Big Breakfast!

Colleagues across The Vella Group took time out to enjoy breakfast together and catch up with one another.

With World Mental Health Day taking place tomorrow, Saturday 10th October, it was also a great opportunity to remind ourselves of the importance of checking in with each other and looking after our mental health.

This year’s theme is “Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change”, highlighting the importance of listening to people’s experiences and making sure their voices are heard.

A big thank you to everyone who took part, helped organise a breakfast or decorated their canteen to support the day!

If you or someone you know needs extra support, Ben offers free and confidential help.
