Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Allianz Regional Claims Proposition Managers to our Trafford Park site.

The visit was a great opportunity to show the team what goes on behind the scenes in the bodyshop, from our repair process and apprentices to how we work as a business. It was also a chance for us to learn more about the Allianz team, their role and how they work with our sites.

The team had a tour of the workshop, where they got to see the repair process in action and chat with our technicians and Site Manager, Jeanette, about the work that goes into getting our customers back on the road.

It was great to spend some time together, share knowledge, ask questions and get a better understanding of each other’s roles.

Thanks to the Allianz team for coming to see us, and a big thank you to everyone at Trafford Park for making them feel so welcome!

We’re delighted to share that The Vella Group has won two awards at the NBRA UK Bodyshops Awards 2026, which took place last Thursday.

We took home the Sustainability Award and achieved Platinum in the Greener Bodyshop Award.

We’re incredibly proud of this achievement, and a huge well done to everyone across the Group who has helped make this possible.

We had a great evening celebrating with colleagues and others across the industry.

On the 4th of October, our Marketing Executive, Talia Foxler, will be taking on the Manchester Half Marathon to raise money for Manchester Young Lives.

Manchester Young Lives is a charity we’re proud to support at The Vella Group, helping young people across Manchester through a range of support, opportunities and experiences.

Talia has been putting in the training and clocking up the miles, and now race day is getting closer!

We recently joined the Admiral team in Cardiff for a volunteer day at a community allotment.

Together, we put our gardening skills to the test, helping to restore the overgrown space by clearing the area, pulling weeds and digging, getting it ready to be used and enjoyed again.

It was brilliant to work alongside the Admiral team, do something a little different and have the opportunity to give back to the local community.

A huge thank you to Admiral for having us and to everyone who took part. It was a great day, and we’re looking forward to more opportunities like this in the future!

We’re delighted to share some exciting news!

The Vella Group has been shortlisted in three categories at the NBRA Greener Bodyshop Awards 2026:

Sustainability Award, Staff Wellbeing Award and Greener Bodyshop Award.

We’re really proud to be recognised across all three categories. It’s a fantastic reflection of the great work happening across the Group and the people who make it all possible.

A huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in getting us here.

We’re looking forward to the awards on 3rd September at the Coventry Building Society Arena and celebrating with everyone on the night.

We’re incredibly proud to share some fantastic news ahead of this year’s Bodyshop Awards 2026!

A huge congratulations to Alex Henshaw from our Finance team and Stephen Halsall from our Integration team, who have both been named 30 Under 30: Rising Stars. A brilliant achievement and great recognition for them both.

Alex and Stephen will be recognised at the 30 Under 30: Rising Stars evening on 15th October at The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield.

We’re also delighted that Stefan Whyte, Bodyshop Manager at our Liverpool site, has been named a finalist for Bodyshop Manager of the Year and will be joining Alex and Stephen at The Belfry. Another fantastic achievement and well-deserved recognition.

And the good news doesn’t stop there! The Vella Group has also been named a finalist for Bodyshop Group of the Year. 🎉

There’s plenty to be proud of and lots to look forward to in October.
