🏁 TRACK DAY READY | PORSCHE 992 GT3 RS

Some cars deserve more than a standard alignment.

This stunning Paint to Sample (PTS) Porsche 992 GT3 RS came into Genome Design for a precision suspension setup ahead of our client’s track day at Donington Park with RMA Trackdays.

We fitted Suspension Secrets camber blocks and carried out a precision string alignment, optimising the geometry to help the car make the most of its incredible chassis on circuit.

On a car as capable as the GT3 RS, the details matter. Camber, toe and overall geometry all play a crucial role in tyre contact, turn-in response, stability and confidence when pushing on track.

Sub-8-minute laps at the Nürburgring. 🇩🇪

This 718 Cayman GTS has been a bit of a regular at Genome lately, so it’s good to see it out in its natural habitat and putting in the laps at the Nürburgring.

The trip didn’t get off to the smoothest start, with a few issues on arrival at the ring, but a short blast up the Autobahn seemed to have fixed the issue, and the car was out there doing exactly what it was meant to do.

Sub-8-minute laps all day long, and some pretty good feedback from the owner afterwards.

“Car felt so good and the tune meant I could keep up and overtake some of the locals with their GT4s :)”

And the final message to Nick?

“It’s a weapon!!”

That’s exactly what we love to hear. Seeing a car we’ve spent much time working on, out on track, being properly enjoyed and delivering the performance its owner was hoping for.

CAR OF THE WEEK | Genome Automotive Collection

Some cars are easy to walk past. A Lava Orange 718 Boxster S isn’t one of them.

This 2017 example has the looks to get your attention, but it’s the specification and history that make it worth a closer look.

Under the rear deck is a 2.5-litre turbocharged flat-four producing 350 PS, paired with Porsche’s 7-speed PDK gearbox. It also comes with some great options, including Sport Chrono, Porsche Sports Exhaust, PASM and Bose Surround Sound.

Tuning and exhaust upgrades might grab your attention, but keeping on top of the basics is just as important when it comes to owning a Porsche, or any car for that matter.

We’ve had plenty of servicing work going on behind the scenes recently, including this Porsche 911 Turbo S, which came into us for some routine maintenance.

🔧 Work carried out:
* Engine oil and filter change
* Brake fluid change
* Six new spark plugs
* New carbon air filter
* New pollen filter
* Diagnostic health check

Keeping up with servicing is an important part of looking after your Porsche. Regular oil and filter changes help protect the engine, while replacing spark plugs and air filters as part of scheduled maintenance helps keep everything running as it should. Fresh brake fluid helps maintain braking performance, and a new pollen filter helps keep the air inside the cabin clean.

Servicing also gives us the opportunity to check the car over and identify any issues that may need attention. It’s all part of helping you maintain your Porsche’s condition and reliability over the long term.

Sold!! Now with its new owners is this stunning Genome stage 2 cayman T.

Prior to collection we tested our new dyno with a known quantity in the form of this beautiful stage 2 2.0l cayman.

Previously built and tuned on our old dynapack it made 352WHP & 350Ib almost 2 years ago.

Tested on our new mainline 4000whp dyno it’s almost identical. 354whp and 346Ib (390hp at the engine)

We are back tuning with dyno proven results on one of the worlds best hub dyno set ups ❤️

This is what we love to see… a Porsche getting used the proper way. 👀 🏔️

Back in April, this Cayman GT4 came to us for one of our most popular packages - Our GD Over Axle Pipes, a BMC Air Filter and our GD ECU & TCU Calibration.

Not long after collecting it, it's owner sent us an email:
"The GT4 is now more awesome than before... Very pleased with the sound and performance."

Fast forward a few months and we received another email - this time from an European road trip through the Alps.

"The GT4 European trip was immense... especially the Alpine passes. The car was awesome, definitely made for those type of roads. Was also (by far!) the best sounding out of the 7 of us that went." 😁

That's the bit we love. It's one thing to feel the difference on the drive home, but it's another when the car gets properly put to use and comes back with a fantastic story to tell.

And... the Genome merch made the trip too. 😉
